Up for bids is a 1999 trans am ws6 ram air black with ebony lthr 6-spd manual tans garage kept. Standard equipment include ....power antenna, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, theft deterrent alarm system, additional include driver 6-way power seat, monsoon 10 speaker series am\fm radio with 6 disc changer, traction control, hurst shifter, ram air package, 17 inch high polished wheels, ws6 package, 325 hp 5.7 ls1, power mirrors with rare blue tint, climate control. The body on this trans am is in very good condition in everyway ,the black paint looks absoulety stunning, the body is arrow straight. The removable t-tops remove easy and both seal up perfect with nooo leaks or any wind noise. Interior is in near mint condition and has extremely comfortable leather lumbar seats, door panels are not cracked like most of these cars. Has after market loud mouth slp exhaust that sounds amazing,its mild when driving under normal conditions but when up open it up it has a perfect deep rumble. Driver seat has a smal tear on the bottom but its very hard to see. Mechanically this trans am runs and drives like new starts right up nooooooo rattles or odd noises,motor holds great oil pressure and never gets hot. The ls1 5.7 motor has plenty of power to throw this trans am from light to light, just has 4 new shocks installed....4 new struts ... new cross drilled and slotted rotors and pads, newer clutch cars shifts smooth threw all the gears except 4th. Car is RUST FREE body undercarriage is very clean and still has black paint on it, doors open and close like new. Now for the BAD 4th gear synco in the trans is going bad it goes in4th if ya hold it for a sec but wont go in under a load. It needs a syncro I had a price of 700.00 to repair it. THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN ABUSED this is a common problem for these six speed trannys. I been driving this car like this since i had it and its not a problem it drives great on the side roads and freeway ,never clutch and it goes threw all the other gears great , ALSO THERE IS NOOO A-C. I have never owned a tighter trans am its amazing in every way and everything works perfect even the power antenna, car gets compliments as well as stares everywhere it goes. these cars in this condition are getting harder to find.........LAST OF THE BREED 1967-2002 I HAVE OVER 300 DETAILED PICS AND DRIVING VIDEOS I CAN EMAIL ANYONE WHO WANTS THEM!!!!!!!!!!! Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.

Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.

Saturn Vue ignition switch leads to new group of GM recalls totaling 312k
Fri, 08 Aug 2014General Motors has another spate of recalls to announce. This time they cover 312,280 vehicles worldwide, including 269,041 of in the US, in a total of six campaigns. In 2014, the automaker has recalled 29,079,765 vehicles worldwide, with 25,754,356 of those in the US.
The largest among them covers 215,243 units of the Saturn Vue from 2002-2004 model years worldwide, 202,115 in the US. It's possible for the for the key to be removed even when the ignition isn't in the OFF position. The company knows of two crashes and one injury caused by this problem. Dealers are checking the parts and replacing the ignition cylinder and key set, if necessary.
Next is 72,826 models worldwide (48,059 vehicles in the US) of the 2013 Cadillac ATS four-door sedan, 2013 Buick Encore and 2013 Chevy Trax in Canada. It's possible that the for lap belt pretensioner to retract but not to lock, which could increase occupant movement during a crash. Both front, outboard lap belt pretensioners are being replaced, and a stop-sale is in effect on unsold models until the problem is repaired. There are no known crashes or injuries, though.
