I hate to part with my baby but I've got my eye on a new toy and I've got to find her a new home first.  I bought this car bone stock from83 yearold lady. Every modification has been done since I've owned. This car has never seen inclement weather other getting caught in the rain a couple of times. This car is not for kids or people who are not looking for attention. I literally get followed around by people who just want to ask me questions about it. Constant thumbs up and people are always taking pics and videos of her just randomly on the street. I also want to point out this car is crazy loud. It is by far the BADDEST sounding small block I have ever heard. I put a lot of thought into every modification and used nothing but the best parts to make this one nasty street rod. The original black paint looks amazing for a 16 year old car. As with any black paint it does show some marks here and there in the finish but nothing of any depth. The interior is also in amazing condition with no rips, stains or cracks anywhere. There is very minor wear on the drivers seat bolster and a scratch or two in the plastic. Nothing else noteworthy. I am going to try to remember everything I've done to her but I'm sure I'll forget something so pleas feel free to contact me with any and all questions. I know this car inside and out.

I'm sure I've forgotten something but I promise you will not be disappointed with this car. I've owned it since it had 6000 miles on it and I have treated her like family. Crazy power and amazing reliability. With the big cam you just have to warm it up the first start of the day and it's still very streetable. You can drive it in bumper to bumper traffic in 100 degree weather and she never gets over 170 degrees. I'm going to miss but I'm dying for a CTS-V so no trades unless that's what you have. Contact me with any questions, PLEASE do not bid without your finances in order. Buyer is solely responsible for shipping but I will help in any way I can. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end and payment in full within 5 days. Cash or wire transfer preferred but that can be discussed in detail with the winning bidder. Thank you for looking and good luck.

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

Mon, 13 May 2013

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?

DeLorean Motor Company Pontiac Solstice renderings - Click above for high-res image gallery
General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.
