1979 trans am ws6 t top. this car is all original down to the nuts n bolts. 403 automatic transmission. has all the original a/c even the orginal a/c compressor. all a/c unit parts are there just doesn't work. car runs and drives excellent. the power windows even roll up and down smooth. when you put the key in the ignition the buzzer even still goes on. the clock still works. you can drive this car anywhere. has a brand new restored quadrajet carb. just put new e3 spark plugs in it. I am the 3rd owner of the car. it has been in California all its life and now Arizona. you can see by the pictures this car is absolutely rust free. not a spot of rust anywhere on this car. I have paperwork for emissions in California and Arizona and passed in both states. I also have the phs report for the car as you can see in the pictures. this is an original car and has not been tampered with at all. the only thing that was changed in the car is that it has a cd player. 4 wheel disc brake car, ws6 and also has a brand new gas tank. you can get in this car and drive it anywhere and enjoy it. still has the original spare tire. the t top bags are in the trunk-also original. all gages work and the glass is in good condition and no cracks. the car has brand new tires all the way around. blue California plates are also in the trunk with manuals. thanks for checking out the car, you wont be disappointed on this original ws6 trans am. happy bidding!

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC
Thu, 06 Feb 2014We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.

Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro

That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
