1974 TRANS AM WITH A 4 SPEED. VERY CLEAN AND NICE CAR THAT WAS PAINTED ABOUT 7 YEARS AGO. THE PAINT IS VERY NICE. NOT SHOW QUALITY AS THERE ARE A FEW IMPERFECTIONS HERE AND THERE. THE BODY IS VERY CLEAN AND ORIGINAL SHEET METAL. NO RUST ISSUES. THE FLOORS AND FRAME ARE VERY NICE TOO.
THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT 2300 MILES AGO. IT RUNS EXCELLENT WITH PLENTY OF POWER. THE CAM SOUNDS GREAT. THE CLUTCH IS NEW AND THEY WENT THRU THE TRANS TOO. THE TIRES ARE NEW AND SO IS THE EXHAUST SYSTEM. ON THE INSIDE THE INTERIOR IS NICE. THE DASH HAS NO CRACKS. THERE IS SOME FADE ON THE STEERING WHELL. CARPET, HEADLINER, CONSOLE AND DOOR PANELS ARE NICE. SETS SHOW SOME WEAR ON THE PIPING. THE FABRIC ON THE SEATS IS NICE. PLASTIC PANELS ARE GOOD TOO.
NOT MUCH ELSE TO SAY ABOUT A NICE, CLEAN OLD TRANS AM WITH A 4 SPEED. THE COLOR COMBO LOOKS GREAT! COME SEE AND DRIVE IT!

Tony Stewart to star in Smoke Is The Bandit web series
Mon, 10 Mar 2014NASCAR driver Tony Stewart is making good use of his nickname Smoke in new videos inspired by the 1970s classic Smokey and the Bandit. The original is one of the quintessential automotive movies of its era with a fantastic combination of slapstick comedy and great car stunts in a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. If you've never seen it, check it out immediately.
In the new six-part Smoke IS the Bandit web series, Stewart takes on the role of Burt Reynolds' famous character complete with huge mustache. But instead of trying to smuggle cases of Coors beer it's Mobil 1 oil. The series promises to recreate many of the famous scenes from the movie and includes cameos from other NASCAR drivers.
To complete the look, future videos just need a quality replacement for a young Sally Field to ride shotgun. It would also be really cool if Reynolds could make a brief appearance at some point. Scroll down to check out the trailer and the first episode in the series.
Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am
Mon, 13 May 2013No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.
