1969 Pontiac GTO Judge.  PHS documented.  Built in Fremont the first week of July 1969.  Sold by Donkersley Pontiac, Yuma Arizona.  Color is Warwick Blue with Blue interior.  The Judge was restored in 1997.  The paint is nice with some cracking on the endure bumper (see pic).  No rust or body issues.  The engine is a correct  WS 400 cubic inch Ram Air III, 366 HP.

The  transmission is the original Muncie M-20 4 speed wide ratio.  The rear end is original 3.23:1 rear end.  The Judge has factory front disc power brakes and power steering.

Factory air conditioning (1 0f 50 ).  The AC needs to be charged but it does work.

Original push button radio.

I have replaced the starter with a high torque starter from Ames.  The exhaust has been changed to Flowmasters.  I have added a period correct 8 track player.  Original style bias ply tires.

I have owned the car for 10 years.  I have the owner history.  The car is in excellent condition inside and out.  Runs strong with no issues.  The car can be seen at any time.

Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?

Wed, 07 Oct 2009

DeLorean Motor Company Pontiac Solstice renderings - Click above for high-res image gallery
General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
