Im selling my 2008 G8 GT (sport). Im the original owner and bought it BRAND NEW with 40 miles on it in 2008.
PLEASE DONT WASTE MY TIME! NO TIRE KICKERS! RWHP was 600 @ 14 psi. Here is the motor info: Maggie 2300 Blower pulley 14psi Cog setup Crank pulley Meth 8 rib set up for all pulleys Fuel system i Weldon regulator and Return system SLP 1.85:1-ratio rockersAmerican Racing Headers 1 7/8-inch long-tubes and Mids-stock mufflers Comp cam 0.614/0.624-inch lift, 222/238 Meth Kit- 5 gallon tank in trunkmain studs from ARP ARP head studs 4340 steel H-beam rods from Eagle (PN CRS6125O3D2000) ARP L-19 rod bolts forged PowerPak rings unshrouded the valves a bit on both the intake and exhaust side slight porting on the exhaust side Vigilante triple-disc, 2,800-stall converter (reflashed 7/13) Camaro SS rear 3.55 gears (installed 7/13) GM performace replacement transmission (replaced 7/13) Plugs NGK TR6 (July 2013) ZR1 injectors Transmission and Rear where installed around July of 13. Only about 1000 miles on it. The original trans gave up. Car did run a 11.5 with a bad trans mid 120s. Havent ran it with the replaced parts above. Still in (break in). Im selling because I don't have the heart into the car anymore. I want to play around with my GTO now. Have the full gauge setup and invested TONS AND TONS of money and understand you never get it back. That being said, Im not giving the car away either. Please dont low ball me as I think the price is VERY fair for what you get. TITLE is in hand (CLEAR) I have the original exhaust AND FULL original suspension system Current setup is Pedders Super Coils at all four corners (full adjustable) Car is VERY dependable and has nice cold AC too. Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.
