For sale is a beautiful 2000 Trans Am WS6.  We purchased it from an auction wrecked and fixed it, so it does have a KY Rebuilt title.  It runs and drives perfect and we here at the shop drive it almost daily.  If you would like to see pics of the car at the auction when it was still damaged I would be glad to show anyone upon request.  The only thing I had to do is fix a dent in the pass side rocker and put a new rocker molding on it.  This car is loaded with all power options, Leather, CD player, T-Tops, automatic and much more.  It does not have any cracks in the dash which is common with these cars.  I would rate the car a 7 to 7.5 out of 10.  It is not a perfect show car and if that is what you are looking for please don't waste my time or yours.  I am very honest about what I sell.  the leather is in good shape with no tears or holes in the front seats at all and one small hole in the rear dirvers butt, the pass rear seat is perfect.  The paint is in good shape for a 2000 but not perfect.  The paint is all original minus the rocker molding that I painted and put on so please keep that in mind and keep a realistic expectation of the car.  It is very presentable and would make an awesome everyday driver.  Everything on the car works just as it should with no issues at all and no lights on.  Alot of you guys that follow our auctions know that we are a body shop and car lot that only does speciality vehicles and we drive everything we build.  I would not sell anything that I would not drive myself.  You can also follow us on facebook at T&H Auto Body and Sales LLC.  Also feel free to call or text me anytime at 270-799-1262

GM recalling another 2.7 million vehicles in five separate campaigns

Thu, 15 May 2014

The recalls keep rolling in from General Motors, evidently keen to avoid repeating the mistakes of the ignition-switch debacle and clean house. This time they're all coming at once, with five separate recalls announced together covering approximately 2.7 million vehicles.
The largest of the five actions involves over 2.4 million units of the previous-generation Chevrolet Malibu and Malibu Maxx, Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura in order to fix brake light wiring harness, which have been found to be susceptible to corrosion. The recall is separate from the 56k Aura sedans which GM recently recalled over faulty shift cables, not to mention the previous massive recall of 1.3 million vehicles - some of them the same models - but appears to have resulted from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation that started with the G6 almost a year ago.
The second-largest campaign involves the 2014 Chevy Malibu, specifically those fitted with GM's 2.5-liter engine and stop/start system, approximately 140,000 examples of which has been found to have problematic brakes. The issue does not appear to be connected to the recall of 8k Malibu and Buick LaCrosse sedans (also involving brake woes) which we reported upon last week. Four crashes have been reported in such models, but GM admits it's not yet clear if the problem was a contributing factor in the accidents.

Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years

CNN chronicles young girl building Pontiac Fiero

Fri, 26 Oct 2012

At fourteen years of age, Kathryn DiMaria has already done what many self-proclaimed gearheads won't even attempt in their lifetimes. The Dearborn, Michigan teen is rebuilding a car from the ground up.
The intrepid youngster asked her parents when she was just twelve to start a Pontiac Fiero project, even offering to pony up all the funds herself. Father, Jerry DiMaria only expected the project to last a few months, but two years later, Kathryn is still at it. In this CNN video, the two are at Maker Faire (a DIY festival) rebuilding a 3.4-liter V6 engine out of a Chevrolet Camaro to replace the 2.8-liter mill found in the Fiero.
The whole family hast pitched in, with Kathryn's mother teaching her how to sew in order to complete the interior, father Jerry providing much of the technical know-how, and even her sister is chronicling Kathryn's progress through photos. Jerry even started a thread in a Fiero forum which has been live for two years and is now 22 pages long. Of the project, one forum member wrote, "welcome to the madness."
