1978 FORMULA , 305 V -8 4 SPEED, T TOPS AND DELUXE INTERIOR UP FOR SALE IS A RARE 1978 FIREBIRD FORMULA WITH THE DESIREABLE 305 / 4 SPEED DRIVE TRAIN. THE CAR HAS T TOPS,AND DELUXE INTERIOR. CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD. NEW FRONT ROTORS AND CALIPERS. NEW MUFFLER TOO. THE CAR NEEDS TO BE RESTORED TO BE REAL NICE. THE FLOORS ,FRAME AND TRUNK ARE SOLID. THE REAR QUARTERS WILL NEED METAL PATCHES. THE DOORS ARE SOLID AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS. THE REST OF THE CAR IS SOLID AS WELL. WOULD NOT TAKE A LOT TO RESTORE AND PAINT. THE ORIGINAL INTERIOR IS OVERALL PRETTY GOOD. THE DRIVERS SEAT HAS SPLITS IN THE SEAMS. ALL OTHER SEATS ARE VERY NICE. THE DASH HAS NO CRACKS. THE DOOR PANELS ARE NICE TOO. Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.
