1970 Firebird Trans Am tribute car. I purchased from the second owner and is original California car. Car has many original aspects as well as all new parts. This car is equipped with a 400 ci W72 motor and Borg Warner SuperT10 Transmission out of a 1977 Trans Am. Has the rare one year only 12 bolt with 3.31 gears and Auburn posi unit. All new front suspension, power disc brakes, and power steering make this a very comfortable car to drive. Car has new Polar white paint and correct vinyl graphics. Looks great and turns heads.
The undercarriage has been only cleaned, the original red oxide is in great shape. Has original seats with one minor flaw in the drivers seat as seen in the pics. Headliner in excellent shape. Has new visors,new door panels,new rear veiw mirror, new steering wheel,new carpet, new windshield with antenna, has rally gauge cluster (clock does not work),original AM Delco Radio (does not work). New trim outside as well, new tailights and bezels, new grilles, new parking lights. The motor has just been tuned up also, rebuilt 750 Holley Douple pumper, new HEI distributor, cap , rotor, AC delco plugs, and has Accel Super coil. Has a new exhaust system. Has new starter and converted to Ford soleniod for easy starts. Car is sold as is. I highly recommened seeing and driving this car before bidding. How to turn a Pontiac Fiero into a trackday car

It might sound like a pipe dream, but it's actually quite possible, if you're willing to think a little outside the box. The Pontiac Fiero is out there just waiting for a little work to turn it into a competent racing machine.
Think about it for a second. Of course, we would all like to be snaking through the curves in something exotic, but what happens when you crash or something breaks? The bills are going to mount up quickly. However, if you ball up a Fiero at the track, as long as you're not hurt, then it's not a huge tragedy.
That's basically the story of Steven Snyder in a new video from Drive starring Matt Farah. Snyder wanted to go to the track cheaply and ended up with an awesome little Fiero with a huge wing and a claimed 220 horsepower at the wheels thanks to a V6 from a Chevrolet Lumina. Pontiac Firebird in latest Generation Gap scrap
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Generation Gap is mining the Lingenfelter collection again this week to compare two very different interpretations of the Pontiac Firebird. An original 1968 example goes toe-to-toe with a 2010 Lingenfelter Trans Am to see whether the old man or the modern re-imagining takes the crown.
Being from the Lingenfelter collection, both cars are absolutely immaculate. The '68 packs a Pontiac 350-cubic-inch (5.7-liter) V8 with a claimed 320 horsepower and some classic, muscular style with a hood-mounted tach. Plus, it's painted in an understated shade of green that you don't usually see.
In the other corner is Lingenfelter's pumped-up take on the classic shape based on the modern Camaro, and this is just one of six concept versions ever made. It wears an eye-catching, vintage-inspired livery of blue with a white stripe package. Under its shaker hood is a 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 with a reported 655 hp and 610 pound-feet of torque.
eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.
