You are bidding on a NO RESERVE 1965 Satellite Nascar look alike. This car draws a crowd everywhere it goes.
It even takes alot of attention away from beautifully restored mopars when parked next to them at shows.
With its faded old school look people just seem to love it. Many have asked if it actually is a former race
car turned back into a street car, but that's not the case. The car was hemi orange when I got it and all the numbers
including the 440 call outs and the Plymouth were then hand painted. The primer spots are actually painted over the orange.
The whole car was then wet sanded with 1000 grit to give it a patina look. The satellite started life as a mild 318 wide block
that smoked and barely ran when i got it. But now the car has a well built and balanced H 440 with a forged
steel crank .030 forged pistons, mopar 488 cam, double roller chain, 906 heads with hard seats and double
springs. Just a good solid street 440 backed buy a new 727 auto with a B&M converter, turbo action reverse pattern valve
body and a cheetah shifter. THE CAR RUNS GREAT AND YOU CAN TAKE IT ANYWHERE!
Everything in the car works accept the speedometer which WILL work with a new cable. The satellite also has a 8 3/4 rear
with a 3:23 posi, all new brakes rims and tires. For those of you who would like to take the car back to a more original state
I do have the center console with brackets and shifter, head liner bows, some trim pieces and the original cable 727. All will
go with the car if you want. All the trim on the car is really nice and even the dash pad is in great shape. Nothing on the car
has been modified to point of no return.

The bad:
The satellite has a cracked wind shield and some rust in the lower quarters, trunk extensions and some bubbling in other
areas. The windshield is still made and Auto Metal Direct makes any metal the car my need.
BUT WHO CARES! LEAVE IT! ENJOY THE CAR THE WAY IT IS!

I am selling this car for a friend and will do my best with ?s and i can email the owners phone# if you would like to talk to him. I will sell to people over seas and in other countries. A $700 Deposit in 24 hours of auction and balance due with in 7 days.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
