1973 Plymouth Cuda
For your consideration; Classic Corner Garage is pleased to present this awesome, one of a kind, custom built, 1973
Plymouth Cuda
This is a car that has seen NO EXPENSE spared in the creation of what is definitely one of the most sinister
looking Cuda’s ever built. This is a factory E Body Plymouth Cuda that has been turned into a Nitrous-breathing
monster that cannot even come close to being duplicated for the price that has been set.
This car is a prime example of Mopar muscle at its finest. Freshly Built 406 stroker boasting over 500HP to the
rear wheels with an adrenalin pumping 250Hp shot of NOS at your fingertips. Be prepared to be thrown back in your
seat and feel the raw force of pure horsepower as the car was clocked at an amazing quarter mile time of 10.22
seconds on the bottle.
NO EXPENSE was spared when it came to body, paint, suspension, drivetrain, and performance. The body on this car
would be described as laser-straight, and the paint shows like a sheet of glass even upon close inspection.
The interior is mostly stock with the exception of the newly added pistol grip shifter configured within the stock
console. All the electrical works as it should, and the vehicle is rather comfortable to drive.
When you are ready to put your right foot up against the floor - buckle up, hold on, and get ready for the ride of
your life

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
