2012 Lancer Evolution Gsr White Ams, Cusco, Volk Racing Upgrades, Like New! on 2040-cars
Kissimmee, Florida, United States
Last chance to get a great deal on an awesome car. I am relisting this car in its current state for last time and will be returning it to stock if it does not sell. I have all the receipts for the aftermarket parts and they total $9788.12. I will be adding photos of the car underneath so the underbraces can be better seen. All the paperwork from the original dealer delivery will be provided as well as the window sticker and the stock exhaust. If you have any questions, just message me. Your are bidding on a pristine
2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR that has been tastefully upgraded with
many modifications that enhance the car’s character but do not compromise the reliability
of the vehicle. These include: AMS STX400 Performance Package
which includes complete intake, turboback exhaust, upgraded intercooler and
custom map uploaded via CobbAccessport.
This complete package reliably upgrades the engine to 400hp without any
sacrifices in drivability and reliability. Volk TE37SL Forged Racing
Wheels. These wheels are limited edition
and weigh less than the tradition TE37 and have an enlarged center hole that is
why they do not have center caps. The
rims are mounted with Continental DW tires in 245/40zr18 and the wheels are 18
x 9.5 with a 20mm offset. The brake pads
have also been upgraded to Hawk HPS pads all the way around to provided better stopping
power without as much brake dust as the factory pads and the rubber lines have
been upgraded to stainless steel DOT approved lines for improved pedal feel. The car is lowered on Eibach Pro
lowering springs and I have installed a Whiteline Roll Center Correction Kit in
order to maintain the Evo’s acclaimed handling. I have also installed the entire
Cusco line of underbraces which help to further stiffen the car thereby
improving road handling and ride comfort.
These can be seen as all the blue bars mounted underneath the car. Inside the car there is the
aforementioned Cobb AccessPort which allows vital engine parameters to be view
and logged, as well as a TWM shifter which has been installed along with all
the shifter cable bushings being upgraded to improve shift quality. The exterior has been tastefully modified
with a Carbon Fiber Do Luck Trunk Lid that has been custom painted so that only
a portion of the carbon fiber can be viewed.
This is complimented by the three hood vents that have been upgraded to
carbon fiber pieces. I have also religiously changed
the oil with Amsoil Full synthetic Racing Oil and have also changed the
transmission fluid to a custom blend of Redline Synthetic Gear Oil and
Mitsubishi Gear oil. I purchased this car in January
of 2012 and have not had the time to fully enjoy it due to work and
family. I am hoping to find it a good
home as it is in immaculate condition and comes with the owner’s manual, the
original front floor mats as well as the original window sticker from
Mitsubishi. This car has never slept
outside and has only been driven in the rain a handful of times. It is a GSR model with the 5 speed manual
transmission and also has the Sight and Sound Package which includes the
Rockford Fosgate sound system with trunk mounted subwoofer and also has the
adjustable upgraded xenon headlights. Bid with confidence as this vehicle
is in perfect condition and has almost $10,000 in upgrades. I have the title in hand and am willing to
entertain reasonable offers. No
lowballers please. The vehicle is also
listed for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction at any
time. Thank you for your time and attention,
if you have any questions do not hesitate to send a message through EBAY or

2014 Mitsubishi Mirage to carry $12,995 price tag*
Mon, 19 Aug 2013If you've only got about twelve grand to spend on a car and you want something new, you've got options, but not many: You can get a Nissan Versa sedan for $11,900, a base Chevrolet Spark hatchback for $12,170, or - as Mitsubishi has just announced - a 2014 Mirage for $12,995.
Not only does that make it one of the cheapest new cars you can buy, but Mitsubishi also claims it's "the most fuel-efficient gasoline-powered non-hybrid vehicle in America," carrying an EPA highway fuel economy rating of 44 miles per gallon. But then that rating is for the CVT model, which will cost you an extra grand over the base five-speed manual version. The bog-standard DE model comes with features including automatic climate control, keyless entry and seven airbags, but for another $1,200 (with either transmission) you can upgrade to ES trim with a whole mess of other features. Regardless of which model you choose, though, you'll have to pay an extra *$725 for delivery ($920 if you live in Alaska or Hawaii), elevating the actual cost of entry to $13,720 in the Lower 48.
2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Quick Corners And Long Goodbyes
Editor's Note: While driving the Mitsubishi Evolution in the slush and snow of a Michigan winter is a fine enterprise, photographing it in such conditions is usually not fruitful. That's why you'll notice a slight disparity between our wintry text and sunny, California-based photographs of the subject car. Rest assured, both the review vehicle and the photo car are of the same basic Evo GSR flavor.
It was a dreary, gray, barely sufferable winter morning in Ann Arbor, MI. Temperatures hovering just over 30 degrees allowed for snow or rain or some combination thereof at a moment's notice, and the thickly clouded sky hinted at dark secrets while promising nothing. I've never been a rally driver but I couldn't help but feel that this murky, imprecise day was good winter rally weather. I'll admit: I don't usually wake up and look out the window to judge which kind of racing would be best just then, but the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR delivered to my house the day before was coloring the mood of the hour; most of my thoughts ran to where I was going to drive it, when, and how fast.
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander
Tue, 19 Mar 2013A Good Start On Halting The Slide
We'd like to say that Mitsubishi has had a tough time of it lately, but "lately" isn't exactly the proper descriptor since the brand's troubles have slowly built over the past decade or so. It cut back on its marketing and it cut model lines while leaving what remained in the equivalent of a product cryo-freeze. Then there was the financial crash and replacement models that didn't possess the same edge we expected from the house of the triple diamond. There was the lack of a North American chairman to fight for market-specific initiatives, and hence, models that lacked some of the details that US customers desired and that could sway buying choices in close races. True, that's a battle with an overseas headquarters that you'll hear from the US reps for almost every foreign automaker, but as you pile on the obstacles they multiply exponentially, not additionally. Or there's this: For more than a year, while its competition has been trumpeting new product, Mitsubishi hasn't had any new models. Like, at all.
That changes with the arrival of the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander, an SUV that we're told will begin a new-product offensive over the next 18 months that - along with a much larger marketing budget - should begin to turn things around. This is the third generation of Mitsubishi's volume model, one that hasn't really been changed since it arrived in 2006 and wasn't just showing its age, but practically crowing about it.
