DESCRIPTION

Up for auction is a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2 door coupe, VIN #4A3AK44Y7WE126810.  The Eclipse comes with a 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder engine.  The vehicle is equipped with front wheel drive, power windows and locks, cruise control and a custom CD player.  It only has 84,652 miles showing on the odometer.  The Eclipse has some cosmetic damage behind the front tires along the bottom of the doors and rocker panel.  There are scratches and dents to the rear passenger side wheel.  There is no door handle on the exterior of the passenger side door.

This vehicle was seized by the Garrett County Sheriff's Office and is being sold in "as is condition" to the highest bidder.  The Sheriff's Office holds a clear title for the vehicle.  The vehicle was operable at the time of seizure and has been stored inside since the date of seizure.

We have been authorized to sell this vehilce on eBay.  Do not ask us to end the auction early or try to offer any amount for a local sale.  The auction can not be stopped and will go to the highest bidder.  The vehicle is being sold "as-is" and the buyer can not hold Garrett County Government, Garrett County Sheriff's Office, Garrett County Narcotics Task Force or Maryland State Police liabile for misprints, description authenticity, or defects of the vehicle.  There is not warranty for this vehicle.

PAYMENT

You can pay with Certified Check or United States Currency (CASH).  These are the only ways payments can be made and we do not accept personal checks.  The vehicle must be paid in full upon pick-up and within 10 days of the close of the auction.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Winning bidder must contact the seller within 2 business days from close of auction to arrange an appointment for payment and pcik-up.  Business days are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  An appointment is necessary for pick-up as times of availability vary.  If no contact is made by the winning bidder within 5 business days, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle. sell it to the next highest bidder, or dispose of it at our discretion.  The winning bidder is required to be present upon vehicle pick-up unless prior arrangements have been made with the seller.  Winning bidder is also required to have proof of insurance on this vehicle, in accordance with Maryland Laws, before we will allow the vehicle to be driven away.  Insurance will not be required on the vehilce if it is towed from our storage facility.
