All parts are good. 2nd gear makes a lot of chattering noises. VEHICLE DOES NOT RUN. It became too much of a head ache to try and get this car running correctly again so I decided to part it out or sell it to whoever wants it."

The car does not run. Buyer will need to tow the vehicle upon purchase.

The car is loaded with aftermarket parts that made it all run outstanding at one point.

My friend blew the last engine because he didn't know how the properties of boosted engines work and decided to crank the manual boost control to max and there went the 2nd gen USDM engine.
With that being said we dropped in a 1st Gen JDM engine (virtually identical) and lost the tune so the car ended up running bad.  After hours of trying to fix it with more and more problems arising I can't put any more time to the car.  I leave the state in 30 days and I can't take the car with me. I would rather use some money made back to help fund my trip to Texas.

The car is equipped with a.... (if listed its upgraded over stock)
Precision T4 sized turbo
1000cc fuel injectors
Fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator
Stainless steel braided fuel lines
17" rims
BIG intercooler
Wide body kit
Prosport wideband and boost gauges
Performance exhaust manifold
Big turbo inlet
Full turbo back straight pipe exhaust

Theres more but I wouldn't even know where to continue...

For any questions about buying the car as a whole or just parts of it please don't hesitate to contact me.

Even Consumer Reports is savaging the Mitsubishi Mirage

Tue, 24 Jun 2014

When we reviewed the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage a few months ago, we absolutely hated it. Our conclusion was that if you needed a car in this segment to either pay a few hundred dollars more for a Chevy Spark or spend less for an entry-level Nissan Versa. Basically, avoid this Mitsubishi at all costs. It turns out that we weren't the only ones who despised it. Consumer Reports can often find something positive about just about any vehicle, but even the usually gentle publication struggles to find compliments when it comes to the Mirage.
It's most serious gripe concerns the model's handling. CR describes the way that the Mirage wallows around turns with tons of body lean even at low speeds as "scary." A little car with a curb weight of 2,051 pounds just shouldn't corner this poorly.
While Consumer Reports definitely has no love when it comes to the 2014 Mirage, finding something to dislike about practically every aspect of the vehicle from its powertrain to the interior, the reviewers do end up digging out one positive aspect. You'll have to scroll down and watch the video to find out what it is.

Mitsubishi boss confirms new Mirage for US; i EV enduring dismal sales

Mon, 12 Nov 2012

By March, Mitsubishi expects to have sold just 55,000 cars in the US this fiscal year. That's a tiny sum - by comparison, Honda has sold over 276,000 Civic models thus far this year - and that's just one vehicle, not an entire brand. Mitsubishi president Osamu Masuko recognizes this is not a tenable position, and he's hoping the company will shift 80,000 units next fiscal year. Warding off speculation, Masuko has repeatedly stated that his company will not retreat from the US market like competitor Suzuki.
We reported on one part of Masuko's plan, the updated Outlander, and now he has confirmed that the small Mirage will be sold in the US beginning next September. The cut-price hatchback is selling well enough that Mitsu's Thailand plant is at its full capacity of 150,000 cars. "And even at that level it's not keeping up with orders," Masuko tells Automotive News. Masuko went on to say the plant would be expanded next year to handle an extra 50,000 units. We can also expect the Outlander plug-in early 2014.

Mitsubishi Attrage brochure reveals additional looks, info

Thu, 23 May 2013

If you're keen to get a closer look at the upcoming Mitsubishi Attrage global sedan, we've got good news for you. A handful of brochure images have made their way to the web courtesy of IndianAutosBlog.com, complete with driveline details. The compact car looks to have its teeth set on taking a chunk out of the Nissan Versa. The Attrage will launch in Thailand with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine good for 76 horsepower coupled to either a five-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. The combination should yield a range of around 570 miles with an 11 gallon tank. We'll save you the math: that's over 50 miles per gallon, though we wouldn't be surprised to see a more powerful, less efficient engine show up on the US-spec model. Buyers can also enjoy snazzy 15-inch alloy wheels.
Expect to find a rearview camera, push-button start, Bluetooth audio and automatic climate control indoors. This information gives us a pretty good idea of what we can expect from the car once it touches down here in the US, though final details - including powertrain - remain likely to change somewhat.
