Hello and thank you for your interest. I am selling my wife's 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman 'S' (Turbo) All 4, which
has been a fantastic car for the family. It is fully loaded and has 25,409 pampered miles. We had it serviced last
month at the dealer and we have all records available (oil and filter change, serpentine belt, air filter
replacement (MIELE) and cabin filter replacement (MIELE). My wife was EXTREMELY meticulous with her car and has
taken fantastic care of it. It has a nice high center of gravity and the dual pane panoramic sunroof is amazing.
I am 6'2" and the car is very comfortable for my frame. I love the option of being able to drive in 'sport mode',
which, at the press of a button, tightens the steering and peps up the engine. $30 to fill the tank with 89 octane
fuel and the gas mileage is awesome. Technically a BMW with hybrid German/British engineering.
Features: Getrag 6-speed manual transmission, Continental SSR runflat tires with 1000 miles on them, Turbocharged
1.6 liter, 16 valve (181 hp) 4 cylinder engine, ALL4 full-time intelligent all wheel drive, ABS, Vented front disc
brakes/ solid rear disk brakes, Corner Brake Control (CBC), Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM), Dynamic Stability Control
(DSC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) with EDLC, 6 way adjustable from bucket seats, 7 airbags, Adjustable tilt
steering wheel, Sport leather steering wheel with cruise control, sport button for quicker throttle and steering
response, 6 speaker Boost stereo, aluminum roof rails, rear factory roof spoiler.
Options: Cosmic Blue Metallic Paint, Carbon Black Leatherette; Cold Weather Premium 2 Package- (Power Folding
Mirrors, Heated Front Seats, Heated Mirrors and Washer Jets, Automatic Climate Control, Rain Sensor for Windshield
Wipers, Auto Headlights, Automatic Climate Control, Silver Alloy Wheels, White Bonnet Stripes, Blue Tooth/USB IPod
adapter, All Season Tires), S Rubber Mats, New factory Mats.
Warranty (Transferable): 4 Years/ 50,000 miles; 12 Year Rust Perforation; 4 Year Unlimited Mileage Roadside
Assistance; 5 Year Ding Shield Dent and Wheel Damage Repair Plan!
The title is free and clear. I will have it detailed at our expense for the new owner. This car is sold 'as is'
with a current manufacturer warranty that will be transferred over to the buyer.
The original Dealer Suggested Retail Price was $30,600. I believe what we are asking for is EXTREMELY reasonable,
but we must sell due to a move and a bigger family. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mini ditches four-seat Countryman

Wed, 10 Oct 2012

Mini is walking away from the rear bucket seats in its Countryman crossover. MotoringFile.com reports that starting in 2013, the CUV will no longer offer just two seats in the second row. Originally, Mini was forced to offer the buckets due to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rules governing the the minimum vehicle width for the allowance of three-wide seating. That rule was recently changed, which allowed Mini to offer the bench seat. Not surprisingly, few buyers have opted for the awkward bucket-and-rail configuration since. Moving forward, all Countryman models will also come with the vehicle's flat-load rear floor as well.
During our time with our long-term Countryman, we found the middle rail between the two buckets to be a bit gimmicky, especially given the fact that the cup holders were only large enough to accommodate a 12-ounce can.

Mini interns turn Paceman into Adventure pickup

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

With coupes and convertibles, hatchbacks and crossovers, Mini has done just about every bodystyle we could think of, and then a few more as concepts. But it hasn't done a pickup. At least it hadn't until now.
What we have here is a Mini Paceman (that, of course, being the coupe version of the Countryman) which has been transformed into a pickup by a group of BMW interns. It's called the Mini Paceman Adventure, and it's currently on display at the Mini dealership in Munich. According to BimmerToday.de, the project involved not only chopping the roof and installing a makeshift pickup bed, but also reinforcing the body, reforming the underbody and B-pillar, fitting off-road tires (including a spare fitted to a roof rack) and a handful of other minor modifications.
The photos are a little sketchy (although the dealership tells us a better set will be available soon), but from what we can see, it looks like a pretty solid project - one that makes us wonder if the apprentices' bosses might be paying attention. Because next to the Mini Coupe with its oddball backwards-hat roof treatment, this one-off looks as sensible as you'd expect from a group of German interns.

2015 Mini Countryman getting mild facelift for NY

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Mini has introduced three generations of retro hatchback since its revival in 2001, with numerous bodystyles spun off that core model. But the Countryman has always stood apart from the rest (save the Paceman which was in turn spun off of it). The Mini crossover is bigger than the rest of the lineup, has more doors, more driven wheels and a familiar yet different look.
There's an all-new model in the works, set to share its architecture with BMW's own front-drive family. But that's still a couple of years away, so to keep the Countryman looking fresh, Mini is reportedly preparing to roll out a mildly facelifted version at the upcoming New York Auto Show.
As we're still awaiting confirmation from the automaker, few details on the updated Countryman are available at this point, but word has it that it will only include some minor cosmetic enhancements to the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Just how comprehensive those updates will be, and how many of them will be derived from the latest Mini Cooper hardtop remain to be seen, but with the NY show just a week away, it won't be long before we find out.
