extremely rare 998 motor (99HE20) with 78259 kilometers (48628 miles) The car was in Italy until 2001. I have the shipping receipt and pictures from when it was shipped from Genova to the Boston harbor. It was then titled in the US. VIN: 922261 Engine has been redone with new gaskets, new engine mounts and upper stabilizer mount. Engine was repainted with the British green engine paint from minimania. All aluminum has been polished. New brakes. All electrical has been gone through and all lights and switches work. Aftermarket fuse block has been installed to upgrade to the blade style fuses and for more reliability, but I still have the original and it can easily be reinstalled for originality. Carburetor (HS6) has been rebuilt. Horn is Italian and has been rebuilt and repainted. Dash and gauges are in Italian. Interior is in almost perfect shape, with the correct door cards for the car and correct steering wheel and shift knob. Innocenti badge on steering wheel and pedal covers. Car runs great. This car is not perfect. It could benefit from a paint job, as there are some spots that have been touched up. Mini announces thoroughly modern engines and chassis for 2014 Cooper

The 2014 Cooper will come with a three-cylinder engine and the Cooper S will get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, both with Mini's TwinPower turbochargers.
We have seen spy photos of the all-new Mini Cooper. We have been teased about its drivetrain. Now we have the engine details confirmed by BMW.
Last chance to order an R56 Mini Hardtop
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Mini will be ending custom orders of the current R56 Cooper Hardtop ahead of the retooling process for the new F56 Mini. That means owners who aren't enamored with what they've seen of the model's new look but still want a personalized version of the tossable hot hatch had best get down to their local Mini dealership and submit their order post-haste.
According to Mini enthusiast site Motoringfile, all orders must be submitted by August 28 in order to get a custom build. Orders are also locked in after that, so if you do get one of the spots, make sure you're absolutely content with the car you order. This cutoff will affect all models of the Hardtop, including the John Cooper Works model.
After August 28, owners will need to wait for the new Hardtop to arrive, which Motoringfile estimates will be in March of 2014. If you miss out on this final allocation of hardtops, all is not lost, however. Mini will still accept personalized orders on other bodystyles, which won't be replaced by F56-based models for some time.
Mini Clubman Bond Street inspired by London shopping
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Mini again plucks a London landmark as the appellation for a special edition, the Mini Clubman Bond Street joining the Mayfair and Camden, and Bayswater and Baker Street editions of the recent past. You'll recognize the formula of primary color and polished contrasting color, in this case its Midnight Black Metallic for the main event and Cool Champagne for the highlights like the roof, mirror caps and trim rings on the 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside it's Carbon Black leather set off by surfaces in Deep Champagne and the Chrome Line package.
It will premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March before going into production for a limited run that same month. Four engines will be offered, with on-the-road prices ranging from 20,275 pounds ($31,961 US) in the UK for the 122-horsepower gas engine to 24,045 pounds ($37,918 US) for the 143-horsepower SD diesel version.
