Mercury Milan Premier Sedan (like Ford Fusion) Only 9000 Mi. Gorgeous, Mint Cond on 2040-cars
Washington, District Of Columbia, United States
This is my 2009 Mercury Milan Premier 4 dr sedan. The Mercury Milan was very similar to the Ford Fusion, but more upscale.
It is Pearl (Platinum) White and has a beautiful camel color leather interior.
It is one gorgeous, classy ride with a Sunroof, very comfy seats and a very spacious interior and trunk.
The car is in excellent condition and has had all recommended service.
IT HAS JUST 9,000 miles!! IT HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED, DAMAGED, SMOKED IN OR HAD ANY MECHANICAL ISSUES.
It is garaged in Washington, DC, and is rarely driven since the owner uses public transportation.
It has AC, CD/MP3/sat radio w/audio jack, cruise control, keyless entry, pwr seat, folding rear seat. 17-in alloy wheels, auto headlights, auto climate control, steering-wheel audio controls, auto-dimming mirror, heated mirrors w/approach lamps, interior color lighting choices.
It also has a Sunroof, spoiler, and Bluetooth, 4-cylinder engine 160 hp, 5-speed automatic. NHTSA rated 5-star crash tested. The huge trunk holds 15.8-cubic-feet of cargo.
Edmunds.com says the 2009 Milan offers best ride/handling balances in the midsize sedan segment. Wind and road noise hushed even at freeway speeds, and its an unusually rewarding family sedan from the driver seat.
With just 9000 TOTAL MILES, the wholesale price is more than I am asking.
NO WRECKS, NO ISSUES, CLEAN CARFAX.

eBay Find of the Day: Craterface's '49 Mercury convertible from Grease
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Here is your chance to own your very own piece of greased lightning. Well, not the Greased Lighting, it's actually the black, flamed 1949 Mercury convertible that races against John Travolta in the classic 1978 movie Grease, and it's for auction on eBay Motors.
While it appeared in the film's exciting drag race in a Los Angeles storm drain, the hot rod was reportedly lost until last year, when the seller found it as a shell. He verified that it was the actual car with original builder, Eddie Paul, and sent the car for a complete restoration.
The auction includes original parts like the exhaust tips used in the movie and bent bumper from when it hit Travolta's car in the scene. The restorer recreated the scorpion stickers on the doors, razor hubcaps and license plate. He also installed a 1949 Mercury 255-cubic-inch (4.2-liter), flathead V8 and three-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
NHTSA probing 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models over throttle issue
Mon, 29 Oct 2012A potential issue with the speed control cable collar has got the 2003-20003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable under the spotlight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the collar breaks it can cause the throttle to be stuck open.
The issue is limited to vehicles with the 3.0-liter V6 Duratec. There are just 50 complaints so far out of 310,000 cars, but the NHTSA has begun an investigation into whether a recall should be issued.
Ford recalling 370,000 Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Town Car models
Fri, 30 Aug 2013The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will recall some 370,000 Crown Victoria (pictured), Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car vehicles from model years 2005 through 2011, for an issue regarding the lower intermediate steering shaft. 355,000 of the vehicles in question were sold in the US, with the other 15,000 sold in Canada.
The report indicates that corrosion of the lower intermediate steering shaft could cause a "loss of steering," presumably because of a partial or complete failure of the part. The report points out the dealers will inspect and replace the offending steering component for recalled cars, and may also secure a lower steering column bearing and replace the upper intermediate steering shaft as needed. The company is unaware of any reports of the faulty part causing any accidents or injuries.
Ford helpfully lists states in which corrosion is more likely to have taken place, mostly in the Snow Belt, as you might guess. Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia are listed.
