***********NO RESERVE*********** SUPER NICE 1973 Cougar XR7 convertible that is a very nice loaded up car with power top ,power steering, power brakes, power windows, original styed steel wheels, bucket seats, center console, and more. This car is ready to go as it is with only one repaint to original color several years ago that still shines very nice. The power convertible top looks and works like new.

The 351 Cleveland engine was rebuilt several years ago and runs out beautifully as does the automatic transmission that shifts perfect. This Cougar gets lots of thumbs up and smiles when on the road or at the local car show. This is a no rust, no excuse California Cougar Convertible that anyone would be proud to own.The interior is excellent but the seam has separated on the bottom of the front seats and one crack in the middle of the dash which are a easy fix at a top shop.

Never underestimate what you'll see on eBay Motors. Take this unique creation, for example. Near as we can tell, it's the same 2002 Mercury Marauder that was modified into a two-door convertible by Ford for the 2002 Chicago Auto Show. According to the seller, this car still boasts its Eaton supercharger bolted to a 4.6-liter V8 engine, and at the time of its debut, the engine was rated at a lofty 335 horsepower. We have a hard time believing that the extra ponies would do much to offset the weight of the additional frame stiffeners and top mechanism on the car, however.
The vehicle is currently offered for sale by a dealer in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, though the listing is mum on how the convertible managed to make its way from Ford's Windy City show stand into the seller's inventory. Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.

Jill Wagner has officially given up her crown as the queen of Mercury. With the Ford middle child on its way to the scrap heap, Wagner no longer has any automotive hardware to promote. Given her varied talents, we wouldn't be surprised to see her pick up where she left off with another automaker.
And here you thought you'd never be upset about Mercury's passing.
