It's a very rare and classic Mercedes Benz 95 E320 Cabriolet, hand made in Germany, shipped over to Cali in 1996,there are only a few left on market for sale, bought this black beauty from my old neighbor who owned it for 5 years, she barely drove the car, that's why it has such low original mileage. I also have clean carfax available to show.
If you do some research online, you will know that E-class convertible was only made in the year of 1994 and 1995,and it was the last handmade model in Benz series in Germany,so it's a special edition. And all the E-class that was made in these 2 years are the most reliable and durable MBZ of all time. The engine was built to last, and it could run up to 400k easily, this one only has 89400 original miles, its still like a new born baby. And it gets really good MPG,19 in the city,25 on the fwy.
The car is in good condition, original paint, cosmetically just a few scratches here and there, there are some cracks on the rear bumper which can be fixed at any body shop! It runs like a dream, super smooth and powerful,no leaks or anything. It has a clean title, and has never been in an accident. The KBB value is over 10K,but I'm willing to let it go for way less due to the flaws i listed.

I think I need to mention that the cracked bumper has been replace already,it cost me $800 to have replaced it. So yeah I think this car is more valuable now.

Daimler buying 12% stake in Beijing Auto
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Daimler and Beijing Automotive are officially going steady, with the German company set to take a 12-percent stake in the Chinese brand tomorrow. The two are already tied up in a Mercedes engine plant in Beijing, of which BAIC will increase its stake in, from 50 to 51 percent. Daimler will also get two seats on the Chinese company's board. BAIC may also gain the ability to produce cars on Mercedes-Benz platforms, according to Automotive News Europe.
The investment in BAIC comes ahead of that company's initial public offering, according to a report form Bloomberg, which indicates the deal will be inked tomorrow in the Chinese capital. According to the report, if the circumstances are right, BAIC may turn around and invest in the Germany company "soon."
It's not entirely clear just how much the 12-percent cut is costing Daimler, although it seems reasonable to assume that, as it's ahead of the IPO, the parent company of Mercedes is getting a bit of a bargain.
Firing of M-B boss upheld
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Ernst Lieb, the disgraced former CEO of American operations for Mercedes-Benz, will not be getting any more money from the Silver Arrow'd teat. His wrongful dismissal suit against MB's parent company, Daimler, was tossed out of a German appeals panel. This, followed the initial rejection by a lower court last year.
According to court documents acquired by Automotive News, Lieb was found to have "accepted payments of substantial value to which he - as he was aware - had no claim."
Lieb took over American operations from former CEO Paul Halata in September of 2006. Reports surfaced in October of 2011 that Lieb was dismissed from his posting at MB, with a variety of rumors swirling. Eventually, news broke that financial wrong doing was responsible for the German's firing.
New details emerge on forthcoming Mercedes-Benz SLC
Sat, 02 Feb 2013Last we heard, the Mercedes-Benz SLC had been put on indefinite hold, but now Car Magazine is reporting that the Porsche 911-fighting "Baby SLS" coupe could be on sale by 2015. Riding on a modified SLS AMG chassis, the smaller and lighter SLC could be priced in the sub-$100,000 price bracket.
We'd already heard that the new car would feature conventional doors (instead of SLS-like gullwing doors), but this report focuses on some of the possible powertrains Mercedes-Benz is likely to use. At launch, the SLC could offer a pair of V8-powered models - a 485-horsepower SLC and a 585-hp SLC S - both being powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. About a year after launch, a new V6 model could emerge giving the SLC an estimated 333 horsepower and its lowest price point.
It also sounds like the car's name hasn't been completely finalized as some people within Mercedes are favoring a return of the SLR name.
