2006 Mercedes Benz S65 Amg, Low Miles, Excellent Condition on 2040-cars
Houston, Texas, United States
Vin: WDBNG79J46A476954 Engine: 6.0L SOHC SMPI 36-valve twin-turbocharged V12 engine Mileage: 65,550 Clean CarFax report. Color: Black exterior, charcoal interior I have owned this car for 3 years and it has been the best
car I have ever owned. I simply don’t drive it enough and need to sell and make
room in the garage. I have made a couple of round trips to Florida (2100
miles), got a 20 mpg average for the trip and burned no oil. I was told all MB
V12s burn some oil, but this car does not. Ally bank has a lien on the car and they hold the title. I cannot
take any trades of any kind. The payoff is almost what I am asking. The car has always been garage kept and maintained properly.
Current Texas inspection and license. Recent maintenance work: 1.
All 24 spark plugs replaced 2013 2.
New left side coil pack 2013 3.
Serpentine belt 2012 4.
New Michelin radials 2011 (7k miles) 5.
New TPMS sensors 2011 6.
Recent oil change (1k miles ago) The car has the following options in addition to the
standard equipment: 1.
Voice command system 2.
Bluetooth phone cradle 3.
Radar (adaptive Distronic) cruise control 4.
Parktronic 5.
Keyless GO I have the following spare parts, tools available. They will
be included with the car ONLY if the buy it now option is used, else they are available
to be purchased separately after the car sells: 1.
One new right side ignition coil ($1200 MB price) 2.
One complete set of MB brake rotors and pads ($2500+ MB Price) 3.
Transmission level check tool 4.
Clone computer diagnostics for the car. Have multiplexer,
cables and HD for Dell 620. Dell 620 not included. This is a must have tool to
diagnose any faults in the car. 5.

Mercedes releases 6x6 G63 AMG specs and pics [w/video]
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Mercedes-Benz has finally dropped full details on its insane G63 AMG 6x6. The machine puts 544 horsepower to all six wheels thanks to a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8. A seven-speed gearbox shuttles power to the ground via three sets of portal axles, which helps give this machine a full 15.75 inches of ground clearance. By comparison, the standard G63 AMG sits with just 8.27 inches of ground clearance. The extra lift allows this 6x6 to ford nearly 40 inches of water and run massive 37-inch tires. All told, there are five differential locks on this thing, all controlled by a special "locking logic" that provides the best traction possible for any given situation.
The controls offer up three stages of locking, which we can only assume range from JKLOL to OMGWTF. Right now, AMG says this monstrosity is only a show vehicle, but we imagine it wouldn't take much to convince the team to whip up one of your very own. Check out our full gallery and the press release below for all the nitty gritty. While you're down there, you can also check out the video on the machine one more time.
2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S 4Matic [w/video]
Wed, 20 Feb 2013Maybe you saw our recent blog snippet on a bunch of US journos getting pulled over in the middle of nowhere in Catalunya, Spain for driving a bunch of new 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG models. By all accounts, they weren't speeding - which makes me softly guffaw. I was there in that group, yet I had taken the more direct route into the mountains from Barcelona so that I could... well, so that I could go faster. No one hassled me and I had the Autovia all to myself. And it was the goodniks - the team players - who got nabbed because Spain had decided to suddenly enforce the never enforced "must carry an international driver's license" clause of the highway code.
The departing E63 AMG with 518 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque from its M157 5.5-liter biturbo V8 hasn't exactly been poorly received. It isn't as crisp as, nor as pleasantly evil as its C63 AMG kid brother, but we generally accept that the heavier and larger car will always feel, well, heavier and larger.
As part of the 2014 E-Class mid-cycle redesign, Affalterbach decided to give its E63 AMG more power and torque for the occasion. The base car now gives off 550 hp and 531 lb-ft, while the hotter S version I tested (formerly the AMG Performance Pack) produces 577 hp and 590 lb-ft. The other big novelty is that E63 sedans will be available with both rear- and all-wheel drive, while all US-spec E63 wagons will be 4Matic equipped.
How could a lifted Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG be more awesome? Add an axle
Fri, 01 Mar 2013We are fully confident in saying that this will be the most amazing thing you see all day. First of all, it's a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen - in AMG spec, no less. And it's being shown off in high-definition video glory, blasting through the desert, jumping over sand dunes, and generally being awesome. But here's the kicker: It has six wheels. Three axles. And they're all driven. Holy $%!#.
Under the hood is AMG's usual 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, and total output is rated at 536 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. That's impressive and all, but do keep in mind that the G63 6x6 weighs in at 8,322 pounds or, you know, the weight of two E-Class sedans. Combine that with its 18 inches of ground clearance, 37-inch tires and five locking differentials and you've got a vehicle capable of, well, everything you've ever imagined or will ever imagine for the rest of your life.
But the goodness doesn't stop once you open the doors. Oh, no. This thing is fit for a king - or a sheik, more appropriately - with ultimately luxurious seating for four. The rear bench seat has been removed in favor of two bucket seats with a fixed console in the middle, and the rear seats have been moved back beyond the usual B pillar to allow for more legroom.
