THERE IS A VERY LOW RESERVE ON THIS CAR WELL UNDER BOOK VALUE. MOVING FORCES SALE AND THIS CAR MUST GO! BID WITH CONFIDENCE, IT IS A GREAT DEAL AND WITH A LITTLE TLC WILL LAST YOU YEARS!!!
I am giving as accurate picture of the car as I can...this is not a fixer upper or project. IT NEEDS A LITTLE TLC AND THAT'S IT.
I bought this car with a rebuilt title and Florida issued me a clear title.....however, to not mislead anyone on the car's history I stated that it was a rebuilt title.
Car has in the last 12 months had the following done:
Replaced engine, new suspension and brakes. When the engine was replaced there are a couple of dash lights that never shut off, but the car runs fine. There is probably a way to reset them.
A/C works but needs a new climate control panel installed - I am including it with the car, I just haven't installed it.. The old one would blow a fuse for the compressor. The system is sound and has been charged with freon.
Driver seat needs to be reupholstered.
The switch for the lights also needs to be placed. It is an easy fix. The lights currently work by plugging in part of the old switch in to turn them on. The car has HID's.
Radio works fine but the volume knob acts weird sometimes.
Power windows work pretty well. Sometimes the driver window needs to be helped up to finsh closing....may need a simple adjustment.
Car dives great and is very powerful.

Mercedes was set to sell version of Nissan Titan, now Infiniti might instead
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Mercedes-Benz Titan. Mercedes-Benz Frontier. Mercedes-Benz pickup truck. None of these things roll off the tongue particularly well. We'd like to think that's the reason Daimler opted to kill the idea of rebadged Titan and Frontier pickups from corporate ally Nissan. In reality, the execution before the Frankfurt Motor Show was due to more complicated issues.
Yes, Mercedes, byword for German luxury, style and quality, would have slapped a three-pointed star on a pair of Japanese pickup trucks that have failed to resonate with consumers in the world's largest truck market. That slapping of badges isn't much of an exaggeration, at least on the outside. According to the report from Road & Track, the truck's front clip would have been tweaked, but beyond that, the sheetmetal would have been unchanged. The interior would have received a more thorough going-over by the team at Mercedes, while the suspension and noise, vibration and harshness tuning would have also received significant attention.
The trucks would have ended up being sold through the light-commercial branch of Mercedes-Benz - the same folks that will happily sell you a Sprinter van - had the deal gone through. Issues arose, though, first with the engines. Mercedes wanted a wider range of powertrains to allow it to tune models for specific markets, while Nissan said it couldn't engineer the wide variety of engines that MB wanted to drop under the hood. For the smaller truck, meanwhile, MB was interested in a hybrid or plug-in variant, according to R&T, although this was also shot down by Nissan.
These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).

Test drive the Mercedes SLS AMG Electric Drive with Chris Harris
Thu, 11 Apr 2013It's hard to not like the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT. The all-aluminum coupe is fitted with a wonderful naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 delivering 583 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Not only does the burly combustion engine launch the two-seater to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds, but it does so with one of the world's greatest exhaust soundtracks as it roars, burbles and cackles down the road.
But what happens when Mercedes-Benz takes away the V8 and its accompanying fire-burning song? Stripped of one of its most appealing assets, does the SLS lose its soul?
Chris Harris recently had the opportunity to take the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive for a track spin in Europe. Sans gasoline, but with four electric motors providing a combined 740 horsepower (737 pound-feet of torque), all-electric all-wheel drive coupe uses sophisticated torque vectoring and a multi-mode operating system to put oversteer - drifting! - back into the equation. Fun? You bet. See for yourself, below.
