1991 Mercedes Benz 300sel W126 Sedan Excellent on 2040-cars
Boston, Georgia, United States
This classic 1991 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL is not only beautiful but is in near mint condition. All of the leather is good and is not cracked or anything. Dashboard is perfect. Drives like you are floating on air. We just made a 1000 mile trip in it on vacation and it was such a pleasure to drive and ride in. It has a brand new set of Michelin tires put on right before the trip. Everything on it works as it should. Just a fine automobile. It has had only two owners and I have all the service records and believe me it has been kept up immaculately and timely. Please see pictures and let me know if you have any questions. Never been smoked in and is so clean. It has been garaged all of its life except when on trips. Buyer will have to make their own arrangement to either pick it up or have it shipped. You are invited to drive and inspect it if you are close enough, if not and you want a mechanic to give you a check up on it, you are welcome to arrange that also. Thank You

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
Fri, 22 Feb 2013Make way for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, the most wonderfully preposterous car I have ever driven.
There is absolutely no reason why any two-seat roadster should be fitted with a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 developing 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, but I sure am glad that Mercedes-Benz doesn't see things that way.
Drop into the leather-lined cockpit of this $213,145 provocateur, floor the accelerator pedal as I did over and over again, and 60 miles per hour falls in a traction-limited 3.9 seconds. Top speed has been electronically held to 186 mph (this apparently saves Gulfstream jet owners from embarrassment). Forget the SL550 and SL63 AMG, the valets will trip over themselves attending to the tycoon driving this thoroughbred - it's the real deal.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class spied once again
Fri, 08 Feb 2013As evidenced by how little camouflage the next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been caught wearing lately, it can't be too much longer until the car will get its official debut. In our newest shots of the yacht-sized luxo sedan, the cladding still covers up the headlights, front fascia and most of the rear end, but we finally have an almost undisguised look at the rest of the car's lines.
Considering previous spy shots had more camo that better (or fully) concealed the S-Class' body, some of the more obvious things we see in these images include the prominent grille, the CLS-Class-inspired bodyside creases, the pointed trunk opening and, most interestingly, a lack of fancy exhaust outlets. Unlike other S-Class prototypes we've seen, this car does not have integrated outlets, but it does have two pipes on the left side of the car. All current S-Class models in the US and Europe feature a dual exhaust layout on each side of the car, so while some of our questions about the car get answered, it would appear that more are just arising.
