2007 Mercedes-Benz E320 BLUETEC Sedan 4D with 3.0L, V6, 82,900 Original MilesTurbo Diesel, Auto, 7-Spd Shift, RWD, ABS (4-Wheel), A/C, Alloy Wheels, AM/FMStereo, CD, Cruise Control, Daytime Running Lights, Dual Air Bags, Dual PowerSeats, Electronic Stability Control, Fog Lights, Harman Kardon Sound, HeatedSeats, Keyless Entry, Leather, Moon Roof, Navigation, Sensors, Power Door Locks,Power Steering, Power Windows, Sirius Satellite, Tilt and Telescoping Wheel,Traction Control. I am the second owner of this car, it is in perfect conditionneeds no engine or body work nothing. This particular model, the E320 BLUETEC,at about 80,000-100,000 miles requires at least two major repairs in order tokeep the car in good running condition. The first major repair is the swirlmotor a.k.a. also known as the intake manifold flapper motor, will go out andneeds to be replaced. The other thing nobody will tell you is that at about100,000 miles the oil cooler seals will begin to fail another major problem. Idecided to replace the swirl motor, and the oil cooler seals since the turbowill have to be removed and I figured I might as well go all the way. To sum itup I have replaced the swirl motor, the EGR valve motor, the oil cooler sealsand the dual air intake unit with the one Sensor as recommended by MB;additionally, the fuel and oil filters and lastly, an oil change was done.

First official shot of Mercedes S-Class Coupe leaks out
Mon, 10 Feb 2014With the official debut for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe expected tomorrow, it shouldn't be a surprise that some clicky fingers have already managed to uncover an official image of the car before the unveiling. Outside of this sole image, though, there's precious little detail on the new car.
First posted by Autofilou and then picked up by WorldCarFans, the production S-Class Coupe isn't far off from the concept car we saw a few months back in Frankfurt. Like the concept, the leggy production model appears related, albeit distantly, to the S-Class Sedan. The hood and front fascia are longer and lower, befitting of a two-door, while the character lines in the profile are more pronounced. Obviously, the beltline and slim, B-pillarless greenhouse are coupe-only items. We can't see any details on the back of the car, although it does appear that the long hood has a correspondingly short rear deck.
We'll have all the details on the official replacement for the CL-Class when it makes its full debut tomorrow. Until then, what do you think of this lone image? Does it appear that Mercedes has got it right? In terms of design, where would you rank this with the departing CL-Class? Have your say in Comments.
Watch this perfectly nice Mercedes get crushed by a front-end loader
Mon, 25 Mar 2013In a world where the YouTube hoax continues to thrive, it's hard to know what to think of this little vid, but here are the facts as we know them: a coupe that looks like a first-generation Mercedes-Benz CLK gets crushed by a giant front-end loader. There you have it.
Our questions arise in the aftermath - we know industrial resource machinery is heavy, but the Benz gets squashed so flat we wonder if someone's trying to play a joke on us. We hear that the white coupe may have been the heavy-equipment operator's foreman's car, but who knows? The on-camera interview seems awfully conveniently placed, yes? See for yourself in the video below and then leave us your thoughts in Comments.
Mercedes-Petronas AMG W04 launched to little fanfare, lots of pressure [w/video]
Tue, 05 Feb 2013No indoor cocktail hour for the launch of the W04, the newest chassis built by the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One team. Instead, Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton spent a morning in photo and video sessions at the track in Jerez, Spain then paused a moment to introduce the car. The team will want the W04 to demonstrate the World Championship credentials of the team personnel and one of the team drivers, instead of the mostly humble performances we've seen over the past three years.
The W04 has been fitted with a new five-element front wing, pushrod front and pull-rod rear suspension, a second-generation Coanda exhaust and an "aggressively packaged" rear end. A small vanity panel, à la Infiniti Red Bull's RB9, covers the stepped nose.
Team principal Ross Brawn has called it "a clear step forward in design and detail sophistication," but as much as we truly respect Brawn's abilities and achievements, we heard him say similar things about the updated W03 last year before almost every race weekend from about mid-season. We really hope he's right this time, and so does the team's newest driver, Lewis Hamilton. We'll do our best to ignore the parallels of the Mercedes F1 team having signed a sponsorship deal with Blackberry, another company trying to find its way back to the top and still struggling, and just point you to the video below of the W04 in action.
