Mechanic special, needs TLC... :) >>>> NO RESERVE<<<< Im selling my 2002 mercedes c240. selling as is, clear title, all power, leather, navigation ( don't have a nav cd), made in germany, just did the oil change not to long ago, fairly good tires. The car has electrical problems, battery is draining, because of this problem ac is not working, transmission shifts gears bad, electronics going wiled, but the car starts and drives, needs to be fixed. also valve cover gaskets needs to be replaced which i have them, head liner needs to glue back in place, and passenger front seat belt needs to be put back in place, hat to get a new(used) one because old one went bad. reason of selling is I just don't have enough time to fix it, i'm not a mechanic so cant fix it... when i bought the car 1 year ago seller didn't tell me all the problems, so i got scrued on it... seller lied to me, i bought the car for 8,000.. my loss is your your gain... overall car looks good.. again im selling the car AS IS, if you have any Questions please contact me before bidding, i don't want to have any complaints or problems. im a privet seller so no returns of refunds... if you want to see a car in person we can arrange that, or if you need more pictures of the car then leave me your Cell#... Mercedes Concept GLA45 AMG is ready to run
Wed, 20 Nov 2013This is the Mercedes-Benz Concept GLA45 AMG, and what we mean by that is, "This is the Mercedes-Benz GLA45 AMG." Mercedes has just unveiled the liveried 'concept' at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, giving potential customers a very good look at the newest lunatic in the AMG asylum - a 355-horsepower, 332-pound-foot crossover that uses the same 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in the CLA45 AMG and Europe's A45 AMG.
Joined with a seven-speed, AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission and an AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, Mercedes promises a sub-five-second run to 60 miles per hour. That's not just quick for a crossover, that's quick full stop.
That sleek, lifted body has also been tweaked by the minds at AMG's Affalterbach facility. A new rear spoiler, side sills and front clip are the primary aerodynamic tweaks. Aesthetically, AMG has fitted the requisite "Turbo" badges, gloss-black accents (including exhaust tips and roof rails) and a set of 21-inch, AMG-spec alloy wheels to round out the overall package. Based on the spy shots we've seen, expect slightly toned down aerodynamics when the GLA45 AMG arrives in showrooms.
Mercedes mulling Renault-based entry-level X-Class?
Sun, 17 Mar 2013Somewhere in between the Smart brand and the all-new A-Class (pictured above), Daimler is said to be readying a smaller entry-level product for the Mercedes-Benz brand to compete with models like the Audi A1. According to AutoBild, Mercedes-Benz will get a new hatchback based on a platform from its recent partnership with Renault-Nissan, and it could be called the X-Class.
Expected to debut by 2018, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class could be offered in sedan, hatchback and crossover variants, and it would likely have a starting price below the $20,000-euro mark. Power would come from either a 1.0-liter inline three-cylinder engine or a 1.5-liter inline-four, and the car would likely be built in a low-cost nation in order to make the financials work. Wearing the Mercedes-Benz name, the X-Class would have to exhibit more distinguishable luxury and styling to set itself apart from the models that helped provide its underpinnings.
