2001 Mazda 626 LX NO RESERVE I am selling a 2001 Mazda 626 4 door sedan. This car has a gas saving 4 cyl engine with a automatic transmission. Low miles 142,000 with lots of life left in this car. Grandpa gave it to my daughter....she wants something else. Power windows, Power Locks, Power steering, Cruise control, Air conditioning, Remote entry, Good brakes, CD Player, Good tires, Good tags. This car runs and drives fine, everything works as it should. Although....Please look at the pictures as it has a small crease on the passenger fender and dents on the hood. It also has a few random scratches. And the inside is not in bad shape just needs a good detailing. All the glass is good, all windows go up and down just fine. If your local send me a email and I will give you my address if you would like to come by prior to bidding and take a look or drive the car. This is a NO RESERVE auction so the high bid wins. Mazda recalls 109k Tribute models for rust issue
Fri, 18 Apr 2014The Mazda Tribute is being hit with a similar recall as its platform-mate the Ford Escape underwent a few weeks ago. Mazda is recalling 109,000 Tributes from model years 2001 to 2004. On the trucks, the subframe can rust from road salt, potentially causing the lower control arm to detach. If this happens, a loss of steering control could occur.
Mazda is adding a reinforcement crossbrace for added strength on the affected models. The recall covers Tributes currently registered in or originally sold in 20 northern states and Washington, DC, where road salt is used.
The reinforcement braces aren't available yet to do the repair. Mazda will send a letter in May to owners of affected vehicles that will inform them of the problem, and a second letter telling them when the parts will be ready. Scroll down to read the full recall press release.

We car folk have a more difficult life, because vehicles with the iPhone's cult-like devotion and following, while plentiful, only receive hefty updates after several years. Case in point, the Mazda MX-5.
There's a new one coming, and much like the iPhone 6, it'll arrive in just a few weeks. So, in lockstep with the tech folk, we're anxiously biding our time and waiting with baited breath for the expected debut date of September 3. Also, like Apple fanboys, we're clamoring over any hint or teaser as to what the next-gen Miata will bring, which is why we're showing you the above image.
That is, allegedly, the new MX-5 hiding under the sheet. Auto Motor und Sport has the image, which according to World Car Fans was released by Mazda. Of course, we've reached out to the Zoom-Zoom brand for verification of its authenticity, and will be sure to update as soon as we hear back.
Mazda6 Skyactiv-D Racecar ready to bring diesel to Grand-Am
Tue, 15 Jan 2013It may not be quite as radical as some of the company's past rotary racers, but the new Mazda6 Skyactiv-D racecar does have a notable powertrain underhood: the automaker's brand-new clean diesel four-cylinder engine.
Three of these new diesel-powered Mazda6 racers will take to the track in the Grand-Am GX class of the upcoming 2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 26, with five drivers on each team. The car you see above, number 70, is sponsored by Mazda's longtime motorsports partner, SpeedSource.
