I bought this back in 2000's paid 22,000 for it and put another 15,000 into it (stereo, amps ,and speakers with custom pods, alumin diamondplate floor liners and electrical go over). I then invested in a whole new round of parts including a new hot-rodded out 2400 cc motor from air cooled tech. Motor is unassembled . Theres tons more hitech parts- complete professional pedal unit, chromed axel covers, 4 wheel disc brake conversion kit, fire ext, trim , new rims (5), parts.etc At least another 10,000 .I broke down the rear clip of car in anticipation of me doing restoration . I was stetting up rear clip to fully open from rear of car. The car is easy to work on. It is legally registered in NJ as a 1955 Porsche . The classic antique insurance is very low. The car is in a secure self storage unit , located near Clinton NJ. Car is easily picked up by a flatbed and pick up truck ( for rear clip and or all the extra parts coming with this car ).Car needs type 1 VW trans, Rancho trans makes em and will make you a sweet one specifically for this car. I already have Ranchos , Topside shifter kit (500$) . These cars sell finnished for 45-65 K Not just any replica, but quality ones. This is a Vintage (maker) out of Mexico I believe Car is high quality. The last potential buyer spent two hours going thru every part for this car. Its all there- motor case, shocks , complete motor build parts , hot cam , rebuilt carbs, clutch disc and plate , litened flywheel , chrome axel covers/tubes, disc brake conversions for front, etc etc Thank you for looking.

Maserati Levante production starting next year, Alfieri could come within 28 months
Sat, 08 Mar 2014Maserati is on a roll. The new Ghibli and Quattroporte have been huge successes, and it unveiled the gorgeous Alfieri concept (pictured above) at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The next step for the brand is getting the Levante crossover into production.
"We are getting Mirafiori ready for production [of the Levante]. The first bodies are expected for 2015," said Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne to Reuters in Geneva. He also said that there isn't much keeping the Alfieri off the streets. "The platforms and motors are there. Technically, production could start in 24-28 months," he said. However, Marchionne refused to say whether the company would actually give the concept a green light to be built.
Fiat hopes to be profitable again by 2016, and while its acquisition of Chrysler is certainly going to help, rejuvenating Alfa Romeo and Maserati are also a major part of the plan. In 2013, the Italian luxury brand saw sales more than double to 15,400 vehicles. Maser is still far away from its goal of selling 50,000 units by 2015, but it's quite a start. Fiat bought Maserati in 1993, but business went through a decade or more of doldrums and falling sales. It appears that the century-old brand is finally finding a path forward with some gorgeous new cars.
This is our clearest look yet at the next Maserati Quattroporte
Fri, 02 Nov 2012The best look we've had at the next Maserati Quattroporte so far was found in patent drawings that could have substituted for a whole lot of other cars. But seen here is a more useful glimpse, courtesy of someone on the lookout in Italy who caught a prototype in a skin-hugging wrap.
Maserati has apparently gone with the Charles Eames philosophy on the redesign: "The details are not details. They make the design." The overall line is familiar - not such a bad thing even on this 10-year-old sedan - but the detailing appears to have been refined and made sleeker. The taillights themselves should make for an especially interesting feature if the camo'ed car can be trusted.
The next Quattroporte is predicted to be roughly 450 pounds lighter than the current car, and underhood grunt is expected to come from a 520-horsepower, 5.2-liter turbocharged V8 at launch, followed by a 420-hp, supercharged V6 supplied by Ferrari, both working through an eight-speed ZF transmission.
Leak confirms Maserati product plans, five new models
Fri, 28 Dec 2012It isn't a secret that Maserati is planning a product expansion in an attempt sell 50,000 units annually by 2015, but the automaker hasn't officially announced just how it plans to do so. Yes, we've seen (and driven) the 2014 Quattroporte, checked out spy shots for the smaller Ghibli sedan and Maserati even confirmed the Levante name for its SUV, but a leaked document reported by CarScoop could shed some light on how the Italian automaker intends on carrying out its rapid growth.
According to the image, the new Ghibli and Levante models will considerably lower the entry price point for the Maserati brand with the sedan having a price range from around $72,000 up to just over the $100,000 mark, with the SUV starting at close to $80,000 and topping out at almost $200,000. It also looks like the GranTurismo and GranCabrio will be getting redesigned in the near future at which point the new Gran Sport model will be added to the mix - otherwise known as the which often-rumored sports car with which Maserati will do battle with the Porsche 911.
