Though by no means a complete package, the Maserati Quattroporte is a welcome alternative to more common sporting luxury sedans.

The Quattroporte has Brembo all-disc brakes and a Skyhook automatic-damping suspension. A 394-horsepower V-8 engine works with

Maserati's DuoSelect sequential manual transmission, which may be shifted using steering-column-mounted paddles. Maserati claims the

Quattroporte can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in a swift 5.2 seconds. For optimum weight distribution, the engine sits back in the

chassis, behind the front axle, and drives a rear-mounted transmission. The automaker says this is the first setup of that nature in a

 premium luxury sedan.

I am helping my boss sell this car from his company Fleet.

It has been well maintained with regular oil changes and we just put a new clutch in it for the

optional F1 Paddle Shift Transmission. We also recently just put in a new knock sensor, spark plugs,

temp sensor, new tires up front and a full 4 wheel alignment.

This has been one of our most reliable vehicles.

I will state again though that it does have a REBUILT title from the State of Florida

and can be titled anywhere in the USA with no issue.

As far as the original accident I dont know the details nor do we have any pictures because of

an office fire where we lost a lot of information. It was a front hit from what I know of and since

then it has only been in one RF fender bender which was of minimal damage.

Please look at the pictures as they tell the story. It does have some wear on the interior as far as

nicks and wrinkles but overall is very presentable. There exterior looks very good with only

a few knicks and scratches which I did take pictures of.

The only things I think the car actually needs is the little lid for the ashtray, Nav DVD,

and new parking brake pads

Its a GREAT car that you can DRIVE every day!

Maserati Levante SUV may be built in Italy after all

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

In July Fiat halted its investments in Italy, putting on hold plans for the Maserati Levante SUV to be built at the automaker's flagship factory in Turin. But Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne, whose company owns Maserati, met with unions on Wednesday, and he may announce plans to move forward with production of the SUV at the Mirafiori factory if the CEO and the unions reach an agreement, Bloomberg reports.
Marchionne is reportedly about ready to build new cars at Fiat's largest and oldest factory, on the grounds that 5,300 workers accept extended temporary layoffs through most of next year in a slowing European auto market. If unions don't accept the deal, it's not clear whether Fiat would still consider building the Levante at Mirafiori or not.
The Levante, Maserati's first SUV, is based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee platform, and we reported two years ago that it would be built in Detroit next to its Jeep cousin. Obviously those plans have been altered considerably in the intervening period of time.

Learn why this man has four different Maserati 3500GT classics

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

When you're born, it's impossible to know what sort of cars you'll be into as an adult. Your dad might be into old Mopars while your mom prefers a Ford Mustang. You, on the other hand, might end up being a fan of English cars (that was the case with your author, at least). Regardless of which vehicle type, era or marque you prefer, though, it's usually possible to trace back to the exact moment you fell in love with them.
For Frank Mandarano, his love of all things Maserati started at its birthplace in Italy, before spawning into a passion that saw him found a club and take possession of four 3500s over the years. One car in Mandrano's one-make collection stands out, though - a rare 3500GT that was imported into Mexico in 1960. It is a sweet sounding and gorgeous coupe to behold, making it the perfect subject for the crew at Petrolicious. Scroll down and have a look.

Maserati to cap output at 75,000 cars

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

Maserati appears set to take a page out of corporate sibling Ferrari's playbook with the possibility that it may cap global annual output in the coming years. Ferrari announced in 2013 that it would limit itself to 7,000 vehicles a year to maintain exclusivity, and so far, it has stuck to the plan.
According to an unnamed Maserati executive speaking to Reuters, the Italian luxury car maker wants to cap its sales to 75,000 vehicles a year. However, it's hardly there yet. The company doesn't forecast reaching that production benchmark until 2018.
Dave Sullivan, an auto industry analyst for AutoPacific, thinks that limiting sales could be a smart move for Maserati. "If it is profitable at 75,000 and doesn't require a significant investment in capacity to get there, this appears to be sound," he said to Autoblog via email. "Alfa Romeo is intended to be the volume brand and by capping Maserati, it means that even if you opted to buy the 'entry level' Ghibli, you still have a level of exclusivity."
