The wear on this beautiful car is NOT normal for a 2005 model. It is extremely clean both in and out. The only way to have less wear would have been to never drive this car! Never wrecked, no hail, no fire, no flood, no lease, no salvage, no rebuilt title, no lien, no finder benders, no nothing! Never smoked in, no pets or no kids. Clean! Paint is shiny as new with only a couple of very, very small inclusions. The interior is just as nice as the exterior. the leather is clean with no rips, no tears, no stains. The seats are gray leather with tan suede leather centers. It is just as clean everywhere. Any color difference in the pictures is just the texture of the suede leather. The carpet is clean and soft as new. The carbon-fiber trim is clean and free of scratches.

The 400 horse power Ferrari engine runs like new. The transmission shifts smooth, fast and easy as it did new. The Michelin Super Sport tires still have deep tread and handle great! Matching Silver powder coat Maserati brake calipers.

It has SkyHook active dampening suspension which can instantly adjust the firmness of its shocks in a corner to prevent body roll and gives incredible handling without affecting overall ride quality. The GranSport also has a slightly more tuned exhaust system with by-pass valves for additional horsepower and a slightly more aggressive tone in the upper RPM range.
This is a car you want to see in person. You will not be disappointed here!!!

Maserati to celebrate 100th anniversary at Monterey Motorsports Reunion

Sun, 15 Dec 2013

The Pebble Beach weekend is without a doubt one of the preeminent classic car gatherings on the calendar. But while most of the events that make up the weekend are essentially static displays, our favorite may be the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. That's where you can actually see classic racing cars doing what they were made for in the first place. And every year, organizers of the event select a featured marque.
Last year it was the Chevrolet Corvette. The year before it was Shelby, preceded by Jaguar the year before that. But next year, the classic racing event will feature Maserati, which will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. And to make the occasion extra special for the Modenese marque, next year also marks the 60th anniversary of the most celebrated racing cars ever made by Maserati (or any other constructor, for that matter): the Maserati 250F (No. 4 above) famously piloted by the likes of Fangio and Moss in 1954.
Fittingly, the Trident marque got its start in racing back in 1914 with the debut of the Tipo 26 that put Maserati on the map with a debut victory in the 1926 Targa Florio. Although you don't much see it competing at top levels these days, Maserati went on to win the Indianapolis 500, the Formula One World Championship and, more recently, the FIA GT1 World Championship.

Alfieri headed for production based on strong Maserati sales

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

Maserati has been on a heck of a product surge recently. After years of subsiding on versions of the previous Quattroporte and the aging GranTurismo, the Modense automaker rolled out the new Quattroporte the year before last, the Ghibli last year, it will introduce the Levante crossover next year and - according to the latest intel - will begin production of the Alfieri sports car the year after that.
The Alfieri concept debuted just last month at the Geneva Motor Show, taking the form of a two-door sports car foreshadowing the brand's new design language. Reception was positive, but it appears that sales of Maserati's existing models is what's giving the Alfieri the green light.
According to Automotive News, citing an interview given by Maserati chief Harald Wester on Bloomberg Television, the brand has been getting 3,500 orders per month, putting it on track to sell 42,000 units this year - nearly three times as much as the 15,400 it sold in 2013. The profits generated off those orders could be enough by themselves to offset the losses which Fiat is expected to record this year based on flagging sales for the Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Jeep brands in Europe.

Maserati returns to Indianapolis to commemorate historic win

Tue, 27 May 2014

This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend, folks, and you know what that means: racing. There was the Monaco Grand Prix for Formula One fans, and back Stateside there was the Indianapolis 500. You might expect to see a name like Maserati pop up at the former more than the latter, but that wasn't always the case.
These days its all about Dallara chassis powered by Chevy or Honda, but over the course of a century there have been plenty of foreign automakers that have won the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. McLaren won it twice in the 1970s, Mercedes and Peugoet won during the race's pre-WWI infancy, and in between them Boyle Racing won it two years in a row with a Maserati chassis and engine.
The car was the Maserati 8CTF "Boyle Special," and its first win came 75 years ago. So to mark the occasion (as well as Maserati's 100th anniversary), the car was brought back to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a revival lap. Unfortunately Wilbur Shaw, who won the Indy 500 three times (twice in the Maserati) and went on to be president of the speedway, died in a plane crash the day before his 52nd birthday in 1954. So in his place fellow three-time winner Johnny Rutherford took the wheel of the 8CTF in front of the gathered crowds.
