This 1951 MG TD is in excellent rust-free restored condition and is ready to drive. Acquired from an estate, it is a matching numbers vehicle in solid mechanical, driving, and cosmetic condition, obviously very well taken care of since restoration. This is a fantastic looking and driving car!

Cosmetically the paint shines well. It does have some normal blemishes as a result of normal driving. The interior is in very good condition. The convertible top (hood) is in great condition and the side curtains are included and in great condition as well. A brand new tonneau cover is included, ready for installation by the new owner. The seats, door panels, and carpets are all in great shape.

The wood dash face has a crack. A new face panel and backer panel is included, ready for the new owner to customize.

There is a small chip in the windshield on the driver side (pictured). The chrome is in good shape but not perfect; it may show some pitting is some areas. The following pictures show detail.

Body-wise, the car is solid, including frame, wood, and body. There may have been a small repair (metal hammered out) at the left front bumper mount (undercarriage, not visible from exterior) (pictured).

The vehicle's undercarriage is clean. Note the picture of the car on the lift. More specific undercarriage pictures are available at your request.

Mechanically the car runs out very well. The engine starts quickly and is strong, with solid oil pressure. It has horizontal oil filter and great sounding stainless steel exhaust system. The car has the desirable flat faced chronometric tachometer and speedometer, as well as turn signals. The clutch linkage has been upgraded/modified and the clutch is very smooth. The transmission shifts through all four gears smoothly. The engine does drip some oil and the exhaust can present a tad smokey at times. Cylinder pressure (compression) has been tested good in all four cylinders. The brakes stop well, do not shudder, and the Nankang 165R15 tires are in great shape. The steering shaft does vibrate at times, appearing to need an upper felt wrap replacement, if desired. The clock appears to need repaired.

I have done my best to describe most aspects of the car that you'd need to know in order to make a buying decision from afar.
