Immaculate 2003 Lincoln Town Car "Executive".  Florida car with only 39500 miles.  I purchased this car from Lincoln dealership in Bradenton, Florida in December, 2012.  Prior to my purchase it was a one owner car.  Gentleman from Sarasota, Florida owned it and treated it with tender loving care.  Serviced by Lincoln dealership every 5000 miles and the service records are with the vehicle to confirm.  There is a minor scratch on front bumper but other than that the car is perfect showroom condition.  The leather interior excellent.  Back seat doesn't appear to have ever been sat in.  Carpets are like new.  V8 runs smooth and strong.  I have the Car Fax print out showing there has never been any issues with this car. It has all the luxury extras you would expect in a vehicle of this caliber.  Four brand new BF Goodrich tires.  Digital dash that will convert from miles to kilometers if you are Canadian.

REASON FOR SELLING:  The car is presently in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  In December 2012 I drove a vehicle from Nova Scotia to Bradenton, Fla. for a friend.  I purchased this Lincoln to return home.  I stored the car for the winter in a heated garaged since returning to Nova Scotia and it has not been driven in the snow.  Only just took it out from storage yesterday. Imported legally into Canada and I have the Registry of Imported Vehicles certification to confirm.  Only requirement it needed was to switch over to day time running lights which has been completed.  I purchased the car just to simply get me home and resell upon my return to Florida.  I am returning to Florida the first week of April and would be willing to deliver the car if the purchaser is along or nearby the route I will take, or I will work with winning bidder to help arrange alternate delivery at the bidders cost.  If you are from Canada please contact me via email or phone first to discuss registration transfer details.

Lincoln is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction sooner than listed.

You will not be disappointed with this Lincoln.  It truly looks and runs like a brand new car.  Call for more info - John - 902-457-7488

2015 Ford F-150 named Truck of Texas, Lincoln and Jeep also awarded at Truck Rodeo

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

The Ford Motor Company has a lot of reasons to celebrate after winning eight categories in this year's Texas Auto Writers Association's annual Truck Rodeo. Most important among them, the Blue Oval's latest 2015 Ford F-150 earned the prestigious Truck of Texas award, ending the Ram 1500's two-year winning streak. The 2015 Lincoln MKC also grabbed the honor as the CUV of Texas, and Ford was named Truck Line of Texas.
FoMoCo even took trophies for best technology with its extensive use of aluminum on its latest F-Series and best commercial vehicle for the new Transit 250. It wasn't a total sweep, though, because the Jeep Grand Cherokee grabbed the title of the SUV of Texas for the fifth straight time.
This year's event put 60 auto writers in 75 pickups, SUVs and crossovers and challenged them to find the best in a plethora of categories. All of the winners are listed below, and scroll down to read the full announcements from the Texas Auto Writers Association and Ford.

Lincoln needs a farewell address, not a new marketing plan

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

The trouble with Ford's Lincoln brand is that no one cares about it any more.
Not long after I heard that Mark LaNeve, chief operating officer of Ford agency Team Detroit, was moving to take over direct operations of the New York ad agency Hudson Rouge for Lincoln, I heard that JCPenney CEO Ron Johnson was ousted. The two events are connected.

Lincoln releases power and economy ratings for 2015 MKC with 2.3L EcoBoost

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

As the first 2015 MKC crossovers slip into dealerships, Lincoln has confirmed power and fuel economy ratings for the compact crossover's optional 2.3-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder engine.
The new range-topping powerplant, thus far otherwise unavailable in the Blue Oval kingdom, will net a healthy 285 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 305 pound-feet of torque from 2,750 revs. Those figures represent gains of 10 hp and 5 lb-ft over earlier estimates, putting the handsome new compact CUV in the hunt with up-engined rivals from Audi and BMW. (A variant of the 2.3L will shortly find its way into the engine bay of the 2015 Ford Mustang, albeit with a number of key changes, including north-south orientation.)
In the MKC, the new engine will net 18 miles per gallon in the city and 26 on the highway with standard all-wheel drive, meaning it only loses a single mile per gallon in the city cycle versus the 240-hp, 270-lb-ft 2.0L EcoBoost model when fitted with all-wheel drive. Both engines rely on the same six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.
