Here I have for sale, my 1996 Lincoln town car, shes a great car with some parking lot dings and dents, but the paint shines so much it hides it lol! but anyway, great running car, as of the last month I have had the : oil, oil filter, air cleaner replaced. also these cars came with a factory defect which was the intake manifold was made from vinyl which would crack at a cetain point so, I had the whole top end taken off cleaned up, and then a brand new upgraded intake manifold and gaskets put in. Also last week I had the front right tie rod replaced, power steering fluid flushed and new fluid put in, then an alignment(obviously).. and new brake pads all around, the rotors are only 6 months old . Lastly, all four brand NEW cooper cs4 tires one week old. Also as for add ons.. I bought all new pioneer speakers all around with a brand new kenwood head unit that has usb and aux inputs.. added to that system- a brand new everything subwoofer set-up: two 12 inch kickers and a hifonics amp(the good one) both getting 550 watts to each sub.. professionally installed. another addon: brand new tint job all around, done by tint king in Albany NY.. 5% in back and side windows, and 20% on front passenger windows and THEN, 50% for the windshield. I also bought some decent hid's for the headlights. all in all a solid rust free care that's been taken care off(besides the parking lot mishaps, a must see in person! give me a call or text.. text preferably.. trying to sell ASAP, looking to get a new Honda civic si, and need a down payment. Also for the gas mileage people: I get 20-22 city, and 28-30 mpg highway.. hows that for a 4500 pound v8 body on frame American classic luxury car! lol anyway thanks for reading! the names jeff btw 518-590-9955

Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment

Thu, 20 Mar 2014

One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.

2015 Lincoln Navigator ready to roll for $62,475*

Wed, 21 May 2014

Fancy picking up a refreshed Lincoln Navigator? Well, prepare to shell out at least $62,475. That's a whopping increase of $6,310 for the now-EcoBoost-equipped SUV.
That's just for the two-wheel-drive Select model, though. Want to drive all four wheels? Better have an extra $3,575 laying around. Snagging the top-of-the-line Reserve model, meanwhile, demands a premium of $7,500.
For those extra bills, you'll net Lincoln Drive Control, complete with continuously controlled dampers, power running boards, Ziricote wood interior trim, upgraded leather, 22-inch wheels, a "unique" interior headliner and, of course, a "Reserve" badge.

2015 Lincoln MKC priced from $33,995* [w/poll]

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Looking to build on the momentum it struggled to establish with the MKZ, Lincoln recently unveiled the production version of its all-new MKC last month at the LA Auto Show. With a proven platform shared with the Ford Escape and striking design, the 2015 Lincoln MKC goes on sale next summer ready to take on the ever-expanding world of luxury compact crossovers. Breaking into this new segment, Lincoln has priced the MKC aggressively as one of the least-expensive offerings in its class, starting at $33,995 (*including destination charges).
At that price, the 2015 MKC costs a little bit more than a fully loaded 2014 Ford Escape Titanium and is just slightly less costly than the Acura RDX and Volvo XC60. More importantly, it's thousands less than Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLK-Class. The MKC will be offered in three trim levels for now - there is still no more information about Lincoln's new Black Label products - ranging from the base Premiere up to the range-topping Reserve.
The Premiere will come standard with features like active grille shutters, push-button start, remote start, dual-zone climate control and heated front seats, while the midgrade Select starts at $37,225 and adds upgraded 18-inch wheels, ambient lighting, daytime running lights and a steering wheel featuring Wollsdorf leather. The top-shelf Reserve trim level starts at $40,930 and brings even more luxury features including the panoramic roof, navigation, cooled front seats and wifi access.
