1995 Lincoln Town Car Signature Sedan 4.6l. Extra Clean Low Miles. No Reserve on 2040-cars

Reynoldsburg, Ohio, United States

You are bidding on this very clean 1995 Lincoln Town Car signature Edition. This vehicle is the perfect Town Car because of the low miles. The interior is extra extra clean. Never smoked in. No stains. No Burn marks. Every switch knob button is original and is functional. The tires are actually only three months old. The outside is still in pretty good shape. A few tiny rust spots and dings here and there. The passenger side does have a pretty lengthy scratch, however, it isnt so obvious, and it is, in general, a very clean car. The interior is really above average. The best thing about this thing is its drivabilty. Super reliable. Starts right up and goes like it is a 2005 not a 1995. There is a tiny almost non noticeable hesitation when the car is idle, but nothng that hinders the power of the vehicle. Heck maybe a small can of fuel injector will clear that up. I just figured the new owner will want to to do a full 100K maintenance anyway. i would recomend the oil get changed before driving it back (if you are a winning bidder and plan to fly into Columbus and drive it across the country) Actuallly perfect time to do such a thing. I enjoy long road trips in the fall and this is the perfect "road trip" car. Big roomy and powerful on the road Just a little insight about me. My name is Sam. I own a Deli in Downtown Columbus, and I am a "buyer" on my uncles used car dealership. I enjoy going to dealer auctions and buying and selling cars on the side. This lets me have a hobby, try to make supplemental cash, and I get to drive a different car every so often. So, although The car is titled to a dealership, I am a private seller. The good news is, I always buy these cars with atleast an engine and transmission guarantee from the auction. So please bid confidently on my car. I have 100% feedback and take A LOT of pictures to make sure I show the description of the car as best as I can. Please dont hesitate to call, text, email me with questions. 614-271-0330

Lincoln needs a farewell address, not a new marketing plan

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

The trouble with Ford's Lincoln brand is that no one cares about it any more.
Not long after I heard that Mark LaNeve, chief operating officer of Ford agency Team Detroit, was moving to take over direct operations of the New York ad agency Hudson Rouge for Lincoln, I heard that JCPenney CEO Ron Johnson was ousted. The two events are connected.

1955 Lincoln Indianapolis concept up for auction

Sat, 21 Sep 2013

Lincoln was never a brand known for making sports cars. In fact it hasn't offered anything with less than four doors since the demise of the Mark VIII, and that was hardly what you'd call "performance oriented". But that doesn't mean that Ford's luxury marque never toyed with the idea.
In 1955 Ford delivered a Lincoln chassis (along with a 200-horsepower V8 engine and four-speed automatic transmission) to Carrozzeria Boano, an Italian coachbuilder that had just branched off from Ghia the year before. The resulting orange coupe you see here was named after Indianapolis and was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show. And while its detailing may have been divisive, the overall shape certainly caught the eye.

Lincoln MKX Concept announces impending launch in China

Sun, 20 Apr 2014

Lincoln has finally dropped the details on the MKX Concept after a few days of teasing. Set for a very important global debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, we're going to have to see this conceptualized version of the third-generation MKX in person before we can draw any real conclusions on the effectiveness of its design.
One of the things Lincoln will need to do to succeed is deliver something to customers that's unique to the brand's vehicles, which are exclusively rebadged models from parent company Ford. We're not sure this is going to be distinctive enough.
Unlike its last new vehicle, the Navigator, the work done on the MKX is smooth and refined. The stance of the vehicle, with its 21-inch wheels, is aggressive enough. Viewed from the profile, the overhangs appear rather short, while character lines keep it from looking slabsided. In front, we might be witnessing the cleanest interpretation yet of Lincoln's twin grilles. The headlights are slim and stylish, and we're digging the shape and style of the mirrors, which feature integrated turn signals that outline the mirror cap.
