I have a 15 passenger Lincoln Navigator Limousine for sale. This things drives amazing! It is smooth as can be! I just had new tires put on this on March 17th, it also had an oil change, the tie rods were replaced a couple months ago with heavy duty tie rods and the wheel bearings were replaced. This is all typical limousine front end issues but they were recently just taken care of! This suv is in over all good condition. There is a 1500 watt sound system, 2 tvs, an ipod and cell phone cord for the stereo, star gazed mirrored ceiling, full bar area, rope lighting and multiple ice chests. There is a working divider that separated the driver from the passengers, a working phone in the back to call up front to the driver and much more. There is also a back up camera that recently quit working and I haven't investigated this problem yet but there is a wall in the back so you can not see out of the back window but this is a good concept because you can store extra glass wear and cleaning supply in the trunk without people being able to see it. The a/c works good but not great, I bought an extra unit to go in the back but I have not had this installed yet, the cost of running the new lines is $800 bucks but I may be getting this replaced pretty soon as well. I rented it out last summer with the ac as is and I had very minimum complaints on the hottest days of the summer. It is rented out just about every weekend and people love the Navi! There are some minor things wrong with it and seeing as how I currently rent it out right now I will be looking at fixing all of these issues, however if I do get them all fixed before I sell it then the price will be going up! There is a small hole in the head liner inside close to the cd player area (maybe an inch in length), there is a small hole in the seem of the seat (also about an inch in length but it is on the seem) and the biggest issue is some body work that needs to be done. This doesn't appear to be major body work but there is a black spray liner all around the bottom of the vehicle (I personally like it) but most guys that give me their opinion do not like it! I want to have the spray liner removed and get the entire thing painted. I did get an estimate on this and I am looking at about 2k in work! When I do have all of this stuff fixed then you will be seeing this listed on here for a bit more! I do want to get this body work done asap but the body shop is dragging their feet on me! If you are interested or have any questions give me a call (330)389-1887.

Ford's J Mays feels vindicated by Fusion reception

Tue, 25 Sep 2012

It's hard to think back now, but the same man overseeing the design of the 2013 Ford Fusion also presided over a rather lackluster period in Ford design, highlighted by vehicles like the Five Hundred and Freestyle. With the redesigned Fusion receiving high praise, J Mays tells Automotive News that he feels vindicated from criticisms suggesting he's not a daring enough designer.
When Mays took over as lead of design in 1997, he admits to having quite an ego ("My head would barely fit through the door some days. I've long since gotten over myself") and the workload to match. With the Blue Oval's portfolio full of premium brands like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo at that point, along with the bread-and-butter Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models, Mays certainly had quite the challenge.
It was in the mid-2000s that Mays took over just the premium brands, and took on the new title of Chief Creative Officer. At the time, Mays endured some criticism for looking backwards to retro styling, rather than setting a new standard for American car design - criticism that Mays says he is free from with the all-new Fusion.

Lincoln MKC spied in final form

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

When the Lincoln MKC Concept debuted back in January, it received fairly positive feedback from both Autoblog editors and readers alike, and this bodes well for the production version of the luxury crossover judging by these latest spy shots. Reader Ivan Lo captured a few pictures of some MKC prototypes driving around with minimal camouflage, which gives us our best look yet at the design of this new Escape-based Lincoln.
Based on the spy shots from back in May, we already knew that the production MKC would sport some real door handles, a little side cladding and bigger door mirrors, but these latest shots also show us that the rear quarter windows have been enlarged and the integrated dual exhaust outlets have been replaced by round pipes. This means that the MKC will retain the concept's narrow headlights and what is arguably Lincoln's best execution of its split-wing grille. Even better, the rear view confirms the stylish horizontal taillights will remain intact, as well as the Audi-like wraparound liftgate. Since the entire taillight assembly rises along with the liftgate, redundant lights were also added into the rear fascia.
Unfortunately, the low angle of these spy shots leaves us without a view of the interior, but based on its looks alone, the MKC is shaping up to be a promising vehicle for a brand that so badly needs some fresh metal.

Lincoln prepping MKZ re-launch?

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

Launching an all-new car is no easy task. Case in point is the 2013 Lincoln MKZ, introduced with the fanfare of a major nationwide marketing campaign, including expensive Super Bowl ads, just as Ford was curbing production over potential quality issues. The resulting mess was nothing short of a nightmare for any automaker - customers visiting dealerships looking for cars that hadn't been delivered yet. Disappointed buyers walked out of Lincoln retailers without new keys in their hands, or switched to a competing brand to fill empty spaces in their driveways.
The impact was painful, as Lincoln's sales in January and February of this year were among the lowest it has recorded in more than a quarter century. Even though March looked a bit brighter, with the supply crisis reportedly over (there are 3,000 units in transit and production is approaching 200 units per day) the automaker is reportedly studying the feasibility of giving its pivotal MKZ the launch it originally deserved.
According to TheDetroitBureau.com, putting the MKZ back on consumer's radar could cost Ford tens of millions of dollars, but that kind of investment may be warranted if potential buyers have forgotten about the new model... or worse, if they have forgotten about Lincoln.
