1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car. 102K actual miles. Triple Grey, This car has been stored for last 14 yrs. Belonged to my grandfather who took meticulous care of this vehicle.
This car runs, drives and stops. It is in really great unrestored shape and has recent work including new battery, plugs, cap and rotor, oil change and filter, fuel pump, lines and filter, rebuilt carburetor and NEW choke pull off. Tires are in good condition with plenty of tread.
Interior is in great shape. Factory 8 track player. Trunk is nice with all carpet and spare tire. All glass is good. Just a Very Nice solid older car.
Here are the issues. Top is starting to crack from age and being outside after many years inside, Carb is rebuilt, but could use professional adjustment. It has one spot on the door ( parking lot ding), and a little surface rust starting in a couple of spots, but SURFACE only.
Otherwise, just a fantastic older car ready to be driven. Trans shifts well, Car rides really nice.

Thank for looking and good luck.

One more Lincoln MKX concept teaser drops before Beijing
Fri, 18 Apr 2014If the teaser video for Lincoln's launch of a new concept at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show wasn't enough for you, the company has now released a shadowy new image on its Twitter page. The vehicle may be a concept for the next-generation MKX, and its launch in China is part of the huge rollout to sell the brand's models there.
The latest photo shows off the concept's lighting, including LED running lights and lit sideview mirrors. The sharp edges of the lights give some hints to its shape. However, Other than clearly being a crossover, not much else is known.
The concept's launch supports Lincoln breaking into the Chinese market. It will begin selling the MKZ and MKC there this fall, as well as a midsize luxury SUV. A fullsize luxury sedan and the Navigator will come later. The company will also build luxury showrooms for the models that will look more like high-end hotel lobbies than car dealers. Scroll down to watch the teaser video.
1955 Lincoln Indianapolis concept up for auction
Sat, 21 Sep 2013
Lincoln was never a brand known for making sports cars. In fact it hasn't offered anything with less than four doors since the demise of the Mark VIII, and that was hardly what you'd call "performance oriented". But that doesn't mean that Ford's luxury marque never toyed with the idea.
In 1955 Ford delivered a Lincoln chassis (along with a 200-horsepower V8 engine and four-speed automatic transmission) to Carrozzeria Boano, an Italian coachbuilder that had just branched off from Ghia the year before. The resulting orange coupe you see here was named after Indianapolis and was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show. And while its detailing may have been divisive, the overall shape certainly caught the eye.
Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.
