I am selling a 1967 Lincoln Continental Hard Top. The car has been sitting for many, many years. This car is very straight and original. All of the interior and exterior trim pieces are there and are in unrestored condition. The shell of the car itself is in good shape with some minor dents and some minor rust spots. All of the glass in the car, minus the windshield, is intact and in great shape. The motor and powertrain is unmodified but in non-running condition. As you can see the car is very complete and would work as a good rebuild or a parts car for a convertible. If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email. This is an ARIZONA CAR. I know that this car has spent the last of its life in and around Parker before it was parked. 19461 miles on the gauge but actual mileage unknown. Lincoln's first shipment of cars arrives in China
Mon, 15 Sep 2014It has been two years since Lincoln first announced its plans to expand into China, and the first models destined for sale in the giant automotive market just came off the boat in Shanghai on September 10. It's going to be a few weeks before Chinese buyers actually have the chance to get behind the wheel, though.
The first two models being offered to China are the MKZ and MKC, as seen arriving in these photos, and they are going to be sold at dealers that look more like hotels than traditional showrooms. The first four are opening in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou in October, with a grand unveiling of the new brand to Chinese consumers later that month. By the end of the year, Lincoln wants to have eight dealers operating in seven cities. By 2016, the automaker wants to have a lineup of five models available in the People's Republic.
"This is the culmination of months of teamwork and collaboration both in North America and here in China," said Robert Parker, President of Lincoln China, in the company's release.
Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment
Thu, 20 Mar 2014One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
