i am selling my baby due to money woes. its a 1995 with 160,000 original miles. 3rd owner i bought from a old lady. things i have changer are as follows; pioneer in dash 7 in dvd radio, sony xpod 400 watt amp 1 10 inch kicker comp sub, 20 inch vienna wheels with new tires all the way around 1 month ago,lowered 2 inches, oil changes regularly, trans service when i first got car have since replace exhaust manifold, stock everything else on car. car has ice cold 54*f ac and hot heat all features still work has the extra fold out cup holder, rear view camera integrated into dvd head unit. has seat covers on front seats. car drives great. would trust to drive anywhere have made trips to panama city fla, galax va a bunch of times. this is a everyday driver so miles will keep climbing. dont want to sell but in a bind. selling car as is, it is a 20 yr old car it does have some flaws like paint fade and seats but honestly other than that its a great car.

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
Lexus hints at possible IS SportCross comeback [w/poll]
Thu, 10 Jan 2013We're looking forward to seeing the 2014 Lexus IS in person next week at the Detroit Auto Show to see if its brazen design is any less polarizing in person, but Lexus (or at least its Facebook team) has dropped a not-too-subtle hint about the possible return of the SportCross body style - something in between a hatchback and station wagon. The current generation IS comes in sedan and convertible models, but this is an interesting teaser that might suggest an expanded IS lineup.

No one was comparing the IS to the BMW 3 Series, and for Lexus that was a problem.
At the beginning of 2011, we rocked up to the parking lot at Southern California's Santa Anita Raceway to test the 2012 Lexus GS. This was the first sedan in the luxury brand's lineup to reset its intentions on the balance of sport and luxury. The previous GS had blanched into mute tepidity, and the new generation we drove on an autocross course and on a canyon road corrected just about everything; we liked its looks, and the Variable Gear Ratio Steering- and Adaptive Variable Suspension-equipped car moved its abilities into the realm of a true sports sedan, and it was great to drive. They absolutely nailed it.
