2003 Land Rover Range Rover Silver/charcoal, 121k Miles, Supercharged Taillights on 2040-cars
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
Relisted due to a NON-PAYING BIDDER from Denmark with a username "baggersvej84". Please, do not waste your and my time! SERIOUS BIDDER ONLY ! ! ! ....................................................................................................... I am offering for your consideration my 2003 LR Range Rover. It is a fully loaded SUV with fine features such as air-suspension, navigation, parking sensors, 6 CD-changer,... Optional running boards are less than 2 years old. This vehicle has never been in an accident. Always an ABSOLUTE non-smoker. It was always properly and on-time maintained. The A/C blows ice-cold. Everything works the way it should, except now that the timing has to be done. Both front new air-bags have been installed at the mileage of 119k. A new coolant reservoir and all new hoses have been installed in April of this year. New fuel pump and new water pump have been installed end of the month of May. Recent new brake pads. Brand new OEM SUPERCHARGED taillights are less than 3 months old ($1260,-). Tires are Firestone, they are less than 2 years old and show about 85%+ tread wear remaining. Spare tire, jack and tools are included. Do the timing (I got quoted $2600 for the entire job) and have a fine vehicle for the next 10 years. Thank you for looking. 904-859-5561 |

Jaguar and Land Rover to consolidate dealerships
Thu, 29 Nov 2012Jaguar and Land Rover are set to merge their sales facilities, according to Inside Line. Jaguar Land Rover North America President Andy Gross says 45 percent of Jaguar owners also have an SUV in their stable, so it makes sense to give customers as much exposure to the cat's high-riding cousins and possible. The number of overall outlets will remain the same, and the brands will reportedly remain separate on the showroom floor, however.
So far, just one dealer has made the move to combine under the roof of one 68,000 square-foot facility in Paramus, New Jersey (above), though a further 20 are ready to make the shift and become Jaguar Land Rover outlets. Gross believes the shift is necessary so that his company's dealer network will accurately reflect the company's products. We'll see how cozy the brands are when Jaguar starts rolling out its own SUVs in a few years.
Ford's J Mays feels vindicated by Fusion reception
Tue, 25 Sep 2012It's hard to think back now, but the same man overseeing the design of the 2013 Ford Fusion also presided over a rather lackluster period in Ford design, highlighted by vehicles like the Five Hundred and Freestyle. With the redesigned Fusion receiving high praise, J Mays tells Automotive News that he feels vindicated from criticisms suggesting he's not a daring enough designer.
When Mays took over as lead of design in 1997, he admits to having quite an ego ("My head would barely fit through the door some days. I've long since gotten over myself") and the workload to match. With the Blue Oval's portfolio full of premium brands like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo at that point, along with the bread-and-butter Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models, Mays certainly had quite the challenge.
It was in the mid-2000s that Mays took over just the premium brands, and took on the new title of Chief Creative Officer. At the time, Mays endured some criticism for looking backwards to retro styling, rather than setting a new standard for American car design - criticism that Mays says he is free from with the all-new Fusion.
Ferrari exec to lead Jaguar North America
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Jaguar has announced that Jeff Curry will be serving as the brand's new North American vice president, effective August 13. The move is a coup for Jag, which lured Curry away from his previous posting as VP of marketing for Ferrari North America, and is further evidence of just how strong Jaguar's comeback has gotten.
Curry has spent over 20 years in the auto industry, and has worked with Audi, SiriusXM and Land Rover, where he made his start in the industry. His primary responsibilities with Jaguar will cover marketing communications, customer relationship management, and product planning.
Jaguar Land Rover's North American president, Andy Goss, heaped praise on the brand's newest addition saying, "Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles."
