1995 Range Rover Classic LWB. In good shape. This vehicle is the last year they made it as a truck with soft dash, not a luxury SUV. Great truck, 4x4 is awesome and works as good as my jeeps. Very torn about selling it but i have another project in the shop and need to focus.
Lots of work on this vehicle and aftermarket equipment.
Engine and exhaust: 4.2L runs great, recently changed distributor, plugs and wires, brokedown cylinders and cleaned all fuel injectors about 3 months ago, oil changed regularly, very clean and smooth. Transmission pick up screen changed and all fluids changed about 3 000 miles ago. Shifts as it supposed to. Transfer case is fine and shifts as its supposed to but you rarely need the low range with such a strong engine. Absolutely no leaks anywhere under the vehicle. Starter is new about 7 months. Alternator brand new. Electrical harness replaced. EFI ECU replaced.
Brakes: also in great shape, pads at 65%, electronic module, accumulator working fine, brakes were bled and refilled about 4 months ago.
Suspension and wheels: No air shocks. Converted to old man Emu 2 inch lift kit and Emu shocks. Added the custom wheels and trail tires that have about 4,000 miles on them, great shape and handling
Electrical: good. has some quirks. the heated seats are not heating up, i think its a fuse. Electric seats, windows, locks all work fine. Rear view side mirrors do not adjust electronically, again either a fuse or the seat memory ECU. Sunroof currently not sliding.
Interior: As you can see from pictures super clean. Leather is showing some age, no tears or rips but does have some areas that are worn out and thinning on drivers seat mostly. Carpets no stains, headliner no stains
Exterior: Good shape absolutely no rust anywhere. all seals are fine, lift gate and tail gate fine no rust or leaks. paint has some fading if you look closely, there are some scratches that don't seem to come out well in the pics, but they are there. Couple of chips here and there, but really in good shape for the years. All lights. marker lights, blinkers and so forth are working fine.
Sound System: Pioneer aftermarket stereo, kicker 6.5s in doors and 3s in back of headliner, single CD and AUX player plus radio. The amplifier and range rover cd changer are non longer in there. They were not working.
I ve done the majority of the work myself on this vehicle and should be able to answer any questions. Contact me and I can send a video if you want.

Tata to get Jaguar and Land Rover tech, platforms too?
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Since buying Jaguar Land Rover, Indian automaker Tata has generally left its luxury arm's platforms and technology alone. However, those days might be gone. The two of them are gradually growing closer with coordinated development and rumors of shared platforms. And it looks like all of that work and money is finally going to pay off with an actual vehicle in the near future.
According to Australian website Drive, Tata wants to make its cars more attractive to buyers outside of India, and to do that the company knows it must improve quality. The Indian company is being careful, though, because it doesn't want to dilute the Jaguar or Land Rover brands with cheap models. "You're going to see in the future a lot of sharing of technologies and platforms over time, but you won't see a JLR with a Tata badge on it," said Darren Bowler, managing director of Tata's Australian distributor, to Drive.
According to Bowler, these future vehicles are already on the way. Tata and JLR have a global platform in the works for 2017 that both companies could use for cars or crossovers. He also hinted that Jaguar's new Ingenium engines could be shared among the brands in the future, too.
Jaguar Land Rover may build factory in Saudi Arabia
Tue, 11 Dec 2012The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing markets for Land Rover, so it makes sense that the automaker is looking to set up shop in the region. According to Automotive News, Jaguar Land Rover is in talks with the people of Saudi Arabia to build a factory in the country at an expected initial cost of $1.2 billion. Still in the early stage of talks, the proposed facility could start up by 2017 using locally sourced materials such as steel and aluminum.
Such an arrangement could be beneficial for both entities as Saudi Arabia looks to diversify its oil-reliant economy and Land Rover could get local production capacity of around 50,000 units. The report also says that the agreement talks about the possibility for Jaguar models to be built at the same plant further down the road.
This won't be the first vehicle produced in Saudi Arabia - that honor goes to the KSU Gazal-1 - but it will be the first from a major global automaker.
Jaguar Land Rover says key models in short supply, some have six-month wait lists
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Care for a bit more proof that the Jaguar Land Rover portfolio of vehicles is the best it's ever been? Well, the Indian-owned pair of brands saw a record year in 2013, while 2014 has seen a 14-percent increase in sales. The crazy thing is, though, is that figure could be even higher, provided the company had the production capacity.
JLR is running a six-month waiting list on two of its most popular models, the Range Rover Sport (above) and Range Rover. According to Mark White, the company's chief technologist for body engineering, the blame can be placed on the paint shop at the company's Solihull factory, in the UK.
"We will probably max out the paint shop before we max out the body shop. Putting the second body shop in has given us the flexibility to ebb and flow the different models that go through there and meet the capacity demands we've got," White told Automotive News. "However, you always hit a bottleneck somewhere. And the paint shop is probably going to be the next biggest obstacle."
