This is a great truck. It's in very good condition for it's age. The air suspension has already been converted to coil springs and has a 1" spring spacer lift with Goodyear MT/R tires (245/75/16) and black steel rims. Comes with a full size matching spare. It starts right up, passes smog with no problem. It has only 137k miles. It just had an oil/filter change using full synthetic. It has new front brake pads, a new fan clutch and a brand new battery. The A/C works great even in 100+ degree weather. No overheating problems. Interior is in better shape than most i've seen. The power seats, side mirrors, windows and locks work (although the remote key fob quit working). Radio and 6 disc cd changer work good. Driver's seat bottom has been recovered. No dash warning lights on. Tinted windows. The sun roof works good and doesn't leak. When viewed from underneath there is some evidence of the typical Land Rover oil seepage although it doesn't leave drips on the ground. The front tires have about 80% tread and the back about 50%. They are off-road tires so they are a little more rumbly and noisy on the road than street tires. I can include the original rims (which still have old tires on them) and lug nuts if you want them. This is a very nice truck although not perfect (there is some rust here and there) it'll make a perfect daily driver for someone that want to do a little off-roading now and then. It comes with the original spare tire jack, tools, owner's manual and a stack of receipts from a previous owner showing thousands spent on maintenance at some Land Rover dealership in CA.

Ferrari exec to lead Jaguar North America
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Jaguar has announced that Jeff Curry will be serving as the brand's new North American vice president, effective August 13. The move is a coup for Jag, which lured Curry away from his previous posting as VP of marketing for Ferrari North America, and is further evidence of just how strong Jaguar's comeback has gotten.
Curry has spent over 20 years in the auto industry, and has worked with Audi, SiriusXM and Land Rover, where he made his start in the industry. His primary responsibilities with Jaguar will cover marketing communications, customer relationship management, and product planning.
Jaguar Land Rover's North American president, Andy Goss, heaped praise on the brand's newest addition saying, "Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles."
Jaguar Land Rover opens winter testing facility in Minnesota
Wed, 12 Dec 2012As it begins the rollout of the all-wheel-drive Jaguar XJ and XF models, Jaguar Land Rover has just announced that it has opened a new facility in northern Minnesota for winter testing. Located in International Falls, MN (on the US and Canadian border), the British automaker says it is one of the coldest locations in the Continental US. Jaguar's new Instinctive All Wheel Drive system was developed primarily to help sell more cars in the northern US, so it only makes sense to open a testing area in the US as well.
With temperatures that can drop to minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit, International Falls was chosen to mimic some of the worst weather a Jaguar or Land Rover will ever see. The grounds house testing chambers, various road surfaces and even a frozen lake. This new facility complements the hot-weather testing grounds in Phoenix, AZ.

Models like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class may be tailor-made to introduce buyers to the premium segment, but a new study finds that they don't garner the highest rates of non-luxury customer conquests. It turns out that a Volvo leads among folks moving up to a premium brand, and it isn't even one that's made anymore, at that.
A recent study by Polk and IHS Automotive looked at what models had the highest rates of buyers upgrading from a non-luxury segment. The information comes from its new vehicle registration data through April 2014. All ten top models boasted conquest rates of over 50 percent, but the Volvo C70 led the field with 68.01 percent of its customers coming from non-premium brands.
