We are offering this 25th Anniversary Edition Countach as we believe to be "The Finest Kept Unrestored, Ultra-Mint Example" that you will ever find. More important then the documented 3177 miles (4877km) from new. This Countach has had perfect storage and meticulous care over its entire 23 year life. We truly believe no better condition example of this rising value collector car exists anywhere. Enthusiast owned from new, this car comes complete with all original books, manuals, tool kit, spare parts package and even the original shipping plastic seat covers. The very few miles this car has been driven have apparently been in excellent weather conditions as this car appears as-new on the underside and the perfect storage environment has kept all chassis and engine compartment components in flawless condition. There is absolutely no corrosion or even oxidation on the aluminum castings or any plating failure on fasteners or other mechanical components. Wheels are pristine and the tires show no evidence of any age deterioration but are in fact 23 years old and caution is to be taken if car is to be driven at any high speed. The interior is fantastic as you see in our pictures with no wear on leather surfaces and perfect carpet and trim. Absolutely no sun fade as car never really sat out for any extended period of time. All electrical components gauges switchgear, radio, etc all function properly. Power operated windows and hidden headlamps work as intended. Exterior appearance is virtually show quality with damage and deterioration free paint and zero damage history from new. We did change this car over to the much more attractive European factory front bumper assembly perfectly painted to match the original US spec crash bumper is included with the sale of this car. At the time of painting and installing bumper we did refinish the lower front chin spoiler to correct a few small chips and a slightly scraped lower edge. The work is impeccable and a perfect color match. The Lamborghini Countach is an iconic car from the eighties that gave the marque international recognition with its ultra radical styling and blistering performance. This is a late production anniversary edition built in July of 1989 as a US spec car and properly titled as a 1990, the final year and most desirable edition of the famed Countach. This car is in "Concourse" condition as it sits and needs absolutely nothing It runs and drives exactly as you would expect. If you are looking for the best possible Countach on the market today and a Red-Tan Anniversary model, this is the car. These cars are on the rise in value and while cheaper examples may be out there, you will find none better than this one. This is an investment grade collector car that will prove to be a wise purchase as the market grows and an example like this will be impossible to find. Additional pictures available upon request.

Lamborghini unveils Egoista Concept for selfish supercar owners

Sun, 12 May 2013

Does the mere desire to own a ridiculously high-performance and stupendously expensive supercar automatically make its prospective owner a little selfish? Not necessarily, but if said supercar has just one seat, a case could certainly be made that its megalomaniacal owner simply doesn't want to share the experience with his friends...
For such an owner, Lamborghini has presented the Egoista Concept - perhaps fittingly, the car was unveiled at a private 50th birthday party that the automaker seems to have thrown for itself. From what we can glean without any official announcement from Lamborghini to go by, the Egoista Concept has room for a single occupant, is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine and boasts styling said to be inspired by an Apache helicopter.
While we eagerly await more details from Lamborghini, we suggest you click on the image above to view the Egoista in high resolution. With just one angle to go by, we can't really offer much commentary on its design, other than to say it joins the Veneno as one of the more memorable self-given birthday presents in recent memory.

Lamborghini profiled on 60 Minutes for 50th anniversary

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Even though we (meaning car enthusiasts as a whole) don't spend our days driving Lamborghinis, they're somehow a familiar, known quantity. We know we'll be wowed by a Lambo, and we have a pretty fair idea of what the sound and acceleration feel like. We know a Lamborghini is going to be wildly expensive, hopelessly impractical and eye-wateringly thirsty, but the charm that comes with the badge outweighs everything else.
We also recognize that we, as enthusiasts, are in the minority, and that the average joe is likely to be far more blown away by a Raging Bull than the average gearhead. That's what makes this an entertaining video. 60 Minutes explored Lamborghini right in the midst of its fiftieth anniversary, testing a Gallardo at Imola, tearing across the roads of Italy in an Aventador and exploring the Sant'Agata factory where all the magic happens. It's a bit of a long video, but it's a really fascinating look at how the mainstream views something extreme. Take a look below for the full, 12-minute clip.

Take a closer look at Lamborghini's outrageous Veneno [w/video]

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

We couldn't pass up the chance to take a closer look at the outrageous Lamborghini Veneno. The ultra-limited-production 50th anniversary model looks downright lethal sitting under the lights of the Geneva Motor Show. Regardless of the 750-horsepower V12 lurking at the machine's core, the preponderance of vents, wings, splitters and fins means the hypercar can't help but look like it'll cut you for the fun of it. While most high-performance exotics are as much about what you can't see as what you can, the Veneno gets the ludicrous-loving 12-year-old kid inside of us cackling with joy.
We just can't decide whether this $3.4-million-dollar one-of-three hypercar is the hero or villain of our adolescent daydreams. Maybe both. Click through the detailed gallery for your best look yet at the latest bit of insanity from Lamborghini, and check out its official introduction video below.
