Car is in great shape (except front passenger bumper crack).  Garage kept and only use the best in fluids (Royal Purple 5w30 engine oil and filter, Valvoline Synthetic DOT-3 Brake fluid, Prestone 50/50 Max Life Coolant, Marvel Mystery Oil on every fuel tank, etc).  Car also has new K&N air filter (less than 2k miles) and the tires are Falken ZE912 with less than 15k.  Paint is in excellent condition with factory shine/gloss with no rust on body.  Interior is also in excellent working and looking condition and in 100% working conditions.  Engine bay is as good as new (literally), belts are in excellent conditions and all mayor parts and components are also in great conditions.  Overall it only needs TLC (Tender Love & Care) and you'll have many more years to enjoy.  Car has never been to a repair shop for any reasons except 1 factory recall, 30K, 60K and 90K scheduled maintenance and to replaced front end-links ($168 including labor).

I installed less than 2mths ago L.A. Tint Comfort series filming to VA state legal specifications (50% Front and 38% rear and back)
  • National manufacturer's lifetime warranty

I currently have 4 vehicles in my possession and must part ways with the only one that is paid for.  I hope someone will appreciate the care I have given this car and therefore do the same.

Chrysler and Hyundai join Pepsi and Coke as top Super Bowl spenders [w/ video]

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

Super Bowl XLVIII is barely a week away, and some of the early ads are already leaking out. It's timely then that The Street has released rankings of the top five Super Bowl advertisers since 2009, showing Chrysler and Hyundai/Kia taking two of the spots with $131.7 million in cumulative spending.
Since 2010, the cost to air a 30-second Super Bowl ad has risen from $3 million in 2009 to about $4 million in 2014, and about a fifth of advertisers opt for a one-minute ad, which doubles costs. Last year, the ads brought in $292 million, and they have brought in roughly $2 billion since 2010.
Chrysler has spent $64.3 million since 2009 to make it the fourth highest spending company in the last five years. In that time, the company has rebranded itself as it emerged from bankruptcy with the Imported from Detroit ad campaign that premiered in 2011 and last year's God Made a Farmer Ram Trucks ad. Its 2012 Halftime in America sparked national debate about whether it was also a reference to the upcoming presidential election.

Hurricane Sandy cost automakers 15,000 vehicles, may have ruined up to 200k

Wed, 07 Nov 2012

Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic storm in US history, and its total economic impact is just now coming into view. According to Automotive News, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda are set to scrap around 15,000 new vehicles ruined by the storm. Nissan alone accounts for about 40 percent of those, with 6,000 Nissan and Infiniti models deeded "un-saleable" due to damage. The company saw 56 dealerships shuttered due to the storm, but 51 of those have since reopened.
Toyota, meanwhile, had some 4,000 vehicles at its Newark port facility, and of those, 3,000 may be scrapped. An additional 825 were dealer inventory when they were ruined. Honda and Acura dealers are reportedly sending 3,440 vehicles to the salvage yard. By comparison, Chrysler weathered the storm fairly well with 825 units destroyed, while Hyundai suffered only 400 lost units and Kia scrapped around 200.
As you may recall, Fisker also suffered some losses, and Automotive News reports the manufacturer saw 320 Karma models damaged beyond repair. Ford and General Motors have yet to come up with estimates, and no automaker has commented on the full cost of replacing the vehicles.

Senator calling for answers from Hyundai and Kia over MPG debacle

Fri, 30 Nov 2012

Hyundai and Kia have already gone public with plans to make good on the inflated fuel economy claims scandal that has rocked both companies in recent weeks. But one US senator, Jay Rockefeller (D-WV), is skeptical that the general public will see much good from the proposal, and he's looking for answers.
To recap: Hyundai/Kia have agreed to compensate owners of 900,000 affected vehicles for real versus previously claimed fuel mileage (as well as adding in a one- fifteen-percent premium), by way of pre-loaded debit cards. It has been speculated that this payout could crest $100 million by the time the Korean automakers are done writing checks.
Said Rockefeller to The Detroit News, "While I believe this is a positive step, I am concerned that many affected customers may not learn about the program or may find it burdensome to participate in the program." Rockefeller would reportedly like to see a monitoring system for the paybacks more clearly defined, with the goal being as many wronged car buyers as possible getting the recompense that they're due.
