2008 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon in great condition. This has been a great Jeep. This is a third vehicle for us and we are trying to eliminate our debt. I am the second owner. We have mainly used it for traveling Utah's back country. As a "jeep guy", I have owned several jeeps. This has been my favorite one, right behind a classic CJ-7 I owned. This jeep drives very well. It's very comfortable at 75 mph with one hand on the wheel. No bump steer, no "death wobble". It's very predictable for a lifted jeep with bigger tires. This Jeep has spent a fair amount of time off roading. It has a few very minor dents around it that I would most likely have to point them out to you to see. No rust Just a good, clean, non-smoker jeep.
It has a 3.5 inch RE lift with Teraflex control arms and Bilstein shocks. The flex joints in the control arms were just rebuilt, greased and ready for a long life. It drives about as good as a lifted jeep can drive. I doubt you will find one that drives much better.
Other included items are: AEV Procal (computer programmer), evap can skid plate, winch, "trail mirrors" for when you take the doors off, safari top, rear tube doors, 35" BFG tires with around 80% tread, locker bypass switches to use the lockers in 2 wheel or 4 wheel high, hi-lift jack mounts on hood (jack is not included), Rhino lined front bumper and grill, so no rock chips, Bushwacker plastic fender flairs (pass side rear is dented in a bit), aftermarket transmission cooler installed, Synergy ball joints installed other spare parts if you want them.
Other Items: 3 part hard top, Infinity dvd/mp3 radio with subwoofer, power windows, power locks with remotes (includes 3 keys/remotes: I lost a set a few weeks ago and had a new key made. Then I found the lost set a few days ago.), perfect A/C and heat.
Fresh transmission service, Mobil synthetic in the engine. Well taken care of.
I would have no worries about driving this rig across the country.
Kelly Blue Book Rates this Jeep in Salt Lake City as follows:
Excellent Condition: $26,741
Very Good: $26,041
Good: $25,341
Fair: $23,541
On 9-25-2013 it was professionally detailed inside and out. Looks brand new! All scratches are gone. Stains in seats were removed. It is sweet!

2015 Jeep Renegade leaks out ahead of Geneva debut
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Meet the Renegade - Jeep's new baby crossover that's set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The folks at Jalopnik got their hands on a small batch of photos of the new little cutie, showing what appears to be a Trailhawk (read: trail-rated) version, as well as a more civilian-spec Renegade, complete with a new removable roof system, reportedly called My Sky.
Details are slim, though in addition to the exterior images, one photo of the interior has also been leaked, showing what appears to be a small, yet functional (and nicely appointed) cabin. Early reports suggested that the new small Jeep would be based on the Fiat 500L platform, though Jalopnik rightly points out that the Renegade looks an awful lot like the Panda 4x4. Regardless, there's still likely some 500L bones under there, and we'll know more once the official details are revealed in the very near future.
Head over to Jalopnik for more shots of the cute little Renegade, and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Chrysler's Woodward Dream Cruise festivities include Ram concept truck debut
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The streets will be crowded next weekend along Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, Michigan for the 19th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise. As part of the run-up to the festivities, Chrysler has announced that all of its brands - Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, SRT and Mopar - will bring along their latest vehicles. Also included will be a collection of classic American cars and various activities for attendees at the official Chrysler location on the corner of Woodward and 13 Mile Road.
Special to this year, Ram brand director Bob Hegbloom and head of design John Dehner will unveil a Ram concept truck on Saturday. Chrysler will also bring Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs fame along to show off a few custom Chrysler-made vehicles of his own. Fans of the brand on Facebook will get the chance to virtually customize a vehicle from the automaker's portfolio, with the winner getting their dream car built for them by Chrysler. Pretty cool stuff, no?
As in past years, Ford and General Motors will have an official presence at the event as well, and you can expect to see plenty of cars of all makes and models from all parts of the globe. The madness starts this Friday, August 16, from 4:30 PM to 10 PM, with the main event taking place on Saturday, from 9 AM to 9 PM. For more details on the show, including events and their times, check out the press release below.
Jeep gives a trio of customs an encore showing at SEMA
Wed, 05 Nov 2014While Jeep certainly had some new customs on display at this year's SEMA show, it wasn't afraid to recycle a few that people might have missed from earlier this year. The maker of many beloved off-roaders already displayed the Jeep Cherokee Dakar, Maximum Performance Wrangler and Wrangler Mojo at the 2014 Easter Safari, but they all made it to SEMA for an encore.
Based around the Trailhawk, the Cherokee Dakar (pictured above) imagines an even more off-road-capable version of the crossover. The concept wears a mix of Silver Steel Stain paint with Flame Red graphics and rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires. To back up the rugged look, the Dakar is fitted with rock rails and skid plates protecting the oil pan, front suspension, fuel tank and other underbody parts. It also sports prototype parts from Jeep Performance Parts, including a lift kit and fender flares.
The Wrangler is one of the paragons of off-roading, and as the name suggests, the Maximum Performance Wrangler concept is meant to be the ultimate example of what it can do. The custom features locking Dana 60 axles front and rear, a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case, prototype 4-inch lift kit and 37-inch Mud Terrain tires over beadlock wheels. To stay on the trails well into the night, a bar of LEDs is mounted above the windshield. And finally, the Mopar Blue exterior kind of makes the vehicle look like the world's toughest blueberry.
