This auction is for a 2006 JEEP WRANGLER GOLDEN EAGLE EDITION.  This Jeep does NOT HAVE ANY RUST ON THE BODY.   I bought this Jeep for myself and did all the work myself on it. It has a 4 inch SKYJACKER suspension lift with Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks, Skyjacker stabilizer shock, 5 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 33X12.50R15LT tires, New tie rod ends, New draglink, AVS chrome hood cover, Stainless steel rocker covers, Stainless steel gas cap cover, OEM chrome grill, Drake billet shift knob along with the brake and 4 wheel shifter. This Jeep has a clean car fax and all the paint is original and I don't think it has ever been off the road. like I said earlier there is no rust at all on the body. It does have some scratches and rock nicks but no dents. The only thing that doesn't work is the AC it does need to be to be recharged. When I bought this Jeep,  I looked forever to find one this clean as you know they are very hard to find let alone to find a Golden Eagle edition. Everything I have listed above was done this summer including having the front end alingned and a fresh oil change. I have only drove it less than 200 miles after it was all done. Now as for options. It has AC, AM-FM-CD player ,tilt wheel ,rear speaker pods ,rear window defroster ,tow hooks ,fog lights ,tow bar. So if your looking for a Great looking Jeep that is in excellent condition here it is. The only reason I'm selling it is I just don't have the time to drive it. Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself or stop by and look it over it needs nothing just a new owner. If you have any questions at all or want more pictures or come and look at it just let me know. Just remember it is a GOLDEN EAGLE and they are rare.

2014 Jeep Cherokee marketing launches with 'Built Free' commercial

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Now that the 2014 Cherokee is finally on its way to dealerships, Jeep is starting its marketing blitz for its new crossover, beginning with this 60-second TV spot, called Built Free, that premieres today. Set to a Bob Dylan recording, the ad spot discusses something we can all relate to - the feeling of being too busy and too cooped up with everyday tasks to really get out there and explore the world. But as Jeep says in the commercial, "You're still here. And you're still you. The horizons haven't gone anywhere."
Autoblog spoke to Kim Adams-House, head of marketing for the Jeep brand, who explained that this Built Free spot is "an anthemic piece" that "sparks the conversation" for the new Cherokee. As you'll notice, none of the new Jeep's features - its off-road systems, nine-speed automatic transmission, etc. - are mentioned in the ad, but Adams-House says that future marketing "will speak to more" of the CUV's highlights. Following this 60-second spot, 30-second commercials will launch that talk about some of the specific product features.
When asked if the Built Free campaign will include any throwbacks to the original Cherokee, Adams-House told Autoblog that while "we love that vehicle," the new spots are intended to carve out "a unique space for Cherokee in our product portfolio and marketplace." On that same note, don't expect any other Jeep vehicles to get the Built Free treatment. Adams-House said that while this ad "does resonate overall with the brand," it is solely intended to promote the new Cherokee.

2014 Jeep Cherokee

The Cherokee Is Dead. Long Live The Cherokee.
There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."

Chrysler defies NHTSA, says it won't recall 2.7M Jeep Grand Cherokee, Liberty models

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Facing a possible recall totaling around 2.7 million of its most popular SUVs, Chrysler remains insistent that the 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty are safe vehicles. This comes on the heels of a recall request from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for these two models due to fuel tanks mounted behind the rear axle, which could possibly be ruptured during severe rear-end collisions, leading to an increased risk of fire. In response to the allegations, Chrysler says that it does not agree with NHTSA nor does it plan on recalling either vehicle.
Chrysler said both SUVs "met and exceeded" the requirements for fuel-system integrity, and cooperated fully with NHTSA since the investigation was opened in 2010. While 15 deaths and 46 injuries have been reported from fires caused by rear-end collisions on these models, Chrysler is claiming that the vast majority of incidents cited by NHTSA were "high-energy crashes," including one where a stopped Grand Cherokee was rear-ended by a tractor trailer going 65 miles per hour.
The automaker wraps up by saying "NHTSA seems to be holding Chrysler Group to a new standard for fuel tank integrity that does not exist now and did not exist when the Jeep vehicles were manufactured." Scroll down for Chrysler's official response to NHTSA, but we're pretty sure this isn't the last we've heard on this issue.
