This Jeep Rubicon LJ is considered by a majority of Jeepers to be the best Jeep ever made with the bullet proof
4.0 and six speed trans. The unlimited LJ offered a longer wheel base which gives a better ride and better
wheelbase off road. This Jeep Rubicon in amazing condition and has never been abused or rock crawled.
This is the limited edition Rubicon with the Sahara package. (#942/1000 built)
It has the following
Brand new Rubicon Express 4" lift (best reviews) $2500
1" transmission tummy tuck which eliminates vibrations
Brand new Fox 2.0 performance shocks (best rated shocks) $600
Quick disconnect sway bar links
5 Brand new Toyo MT 35" tires (best all around mud tire) $1800
Heavy duty Front off-road bumper with winch mount $450
Harbor Freight 9500lb winch (great reviews) $400
Upgraded pioneer speakers (sound great) $300
Upgraded Pioneer CD player with a Added Bluetooth adaptor $200
Upgraded JW dual projector LED headlights ($800 worth every penny)
Over $7000 worth of upgrades!
The work was done by a local Jeep dealership and all parts and components were tier one.
I have the original factory chrome grill that will come with the sell of the Jeep. I was going to take it and have
it powder coated Satin Black and reinstall it but haven't had the time. I was quoted $80.
The jeep has only been off road one time for less than one hour to test function of lift and components and
everything worked perfect (I own two rock crawlers).
The road manners are good and it doesn't have any quirks or issues.
It doesn't leak any fluids.
Never smoked in.
Jeep has been fully detailed inside & out.
Interior is in amazing condition.
The oil was just changed with synthetic less than 200 miles ago.
The jeep cruises around 2400 rpms at 70mph and has good power all around.

Why Mopar won't release a factory lift kit for the new Jeep Cherokee

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

The Jeep Cherokee Dakar concept showed off at the 2014 Easter Jeep Safari made a lot of online friends, even the Cherokee naysayers assenting that there's a monster Jeep underneath the Cherokee's skin if you're willing to go in and get it. But after reading Road & Track's write-up of what went into creating the Dakar, particularly its lift, you'll understand why you'll probably never see the components for it in the Jeep Performance Parts catalog.
The concept's press release mentions a "prototype Jeep Performance Parts lift kit, and additional suspension modifications." The short-story explanation is that the front struts on the standard Cherokee weren't engineered to accept any amount of lift, so the long story begins with the phrase, "an entirely new suspension." Head over to RT to read the details, and don't be afraid to ogle the Cherokee Dakar gallery and another awesome Jeep fancy that won't likely crawl over the hurdles imposed by production reality.

Jeep sets all-time sales record in 2012

Wed, 09 Jan 2013

Last year was good to Jeep. Chrysler has announced its trail-rated brand set an all-time global sales record in 2012 by moving 701,626 units. That number easily surpasses the previous record set in 1999 when Jeep sold 675,494 models. All told, the brand saw a 19-percent sales increase worldwide over 2011, and much of that swell can be traced directly to the Wrangler. While the Grand Cherokee led Jeep sales, the Wrangler posted record numbers both globally and within the US, moving 194,142 and 141,669 units in each market, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Compass beat its previous global sales record with 103,321 units rolling off of dealer lots. In the US, Jeep sold 62,010 Patriot units, breaking that model's previous record as well. Jeep's impressive performance in 2012 marks the second year in a row the brand has seen double-digit percentage sales increases. Check out the full press release below.

YouTube tallies votes for this year's top five Super Bowl spots [w/video]

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

When we asked you to tell us which of this year's 16 car-themed Super Bowl commercials you liked best, you chose the Farmer commercial from Chrysler Group, advertising the Ram trucks, over Audi's Prom commercial in second place. Turns out the voters in YouTube's Ad Blitz poll agreed, voting the same commercial to the number one spot from among the field commercials in every category.
From there, however, they went in a totally different direction. Budweiser's The Clydesdales spot came second, Samsung's The Next Big Thing took third. The Jeep Whole Again ad scored fourth in the YouTube poll, fifth in our poll of auto commercials, and the Hyundai Team spot got fifth from the YouTubers, but ninth in our poll.
The voting results don't match up with the viewing numbers, though - while Farmer has more than 13 million views, The Next Big Thing is well beyond 21 million. You can read the press release below and see all five spots, lined up for you, one more time.
