2003 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4x4 on 2040-cars

This is a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. 123,000 mles. new tires just put on this week. new pa. inspection. new exhaust,new steering stabilizer. I replaced the oil pan because it started showing signs of rust and didn't want trouble with it later. it is a 4.0l engine with a automatic trans. it has both hard and soft tops. the soft top has never been used and is still in the cover as you can see by the pic. the hard top has never been off. it is garage kept and has been about 95% of the time we have owned it. we bought it used from Car Sense with around 30,000 mile on it. The only time we used it the last couple years is in the winter for the 4 wheel drive does a great job of getting around inthe snow. it does have some minor issues. it has a small rear main seal leak has had it for years never was a big problem. I always did regular oil changes etc. so it never ran low on oil. just always checked the oil level. the clear coat on the wheels is just now starting to peel.also there is a little water leak at the door seals not alot. may need some new weather seals. it could use a detail job but over all is in good shape. inside is clean outside has no rust, paint is nice The Jeep is being sold AS IS I will be putting for sale signs in the window but am not listing it in the local papers. i will end the bidding early if someone buys it local. Australian Jeep marketing stunt goes awry [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Jeep fans in Australia are none too happy with the off-road brand following a contest that saw ten new Cherokees sold for just $10,000 Australian (about $9,400), roughly a quarter of the vehicle's price Down Under.
The contest, called the "World's Most Remote Dealership," gave Aussies the chance to snag an ultra-affordable Cherokee Longitude (analogous to the US-spec Latitude trim), provided they could get to a secret dealership in the remote wilderness of western New South Wales, near the border with the state of South Australia.
In order to get the exact location of the dealership, though, potential customers needed to download an app, which would release a phone number 9:00 AM AEST on Thursday (7:00 PM EDT, Wednesday night). The first ten people who could call in and prove they could afford to finance $10,000 and get to the remote dealership, were given the location of the remote dealership.
Refreshed Chrysler 300 SRT won't be sold in NA
Mon, 20 Oct 2014It looks like it might be time to bid farewell to the V8 rumble from the Chrysler 300 SRT - at least if you live in North America. The reported change comes as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reshuffles its ranks with the Dodge brand, re-absorbing SRT and building its muscular reputation with the Challenger and Charger Hellcat models. Meanwhile, Chrysler is taking a more mainstream approach, and that likely means the end of overt high-performance models from the division for now.
According to Automotive News, the 300 SRT will be discontinued in the US for 2015, but it won't be totally dead. Some right-hand drive markets will still get the brawny V8 sedan next year, a distinction that goes a long way toward explaining some spy shots we've seen recently.
The 300 SRT's North American demise probably shouldn't come as a total shock. In FCA's five-year plan, it says that the 300 is destined for a refresh to be unveiled later this year, presumably at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. There's no mention of the SRT model in the document, though, which seems to signal its end.

The Wagoneer got the SUV on the radar of buyers looking for something capable, comfortable and rugged.
The Jeep Wagoneer was introduced 50 years ago, and it's that vehicle we have to thank for the herds of excellent crossovers and SUVs that make up our current automotive landscape. On a personal level, I have always loved the full-size Jeeps and their crisp Brooks Stevens styling, which aged well over their long tenure on the market. The SJs, as they're known among enthusiasts, were the Wagoneer and its two-door counterpart, the original Cherokee. The Wagoneers had become true luxury vehicles by the end of their run, which stretched form late 1962 as a '63 model all the way to 1991, when they were offered exclusively under the Grand Wagoneer nameplate.
