I originally bought this jeep for my dad for a project, but he decided to take my 72 gremlin so now I have this jeep and It sat in my storage, in Iowa for about a year till I decided to drive it or sell it .So I pulled the 360cid and it got a complete rebuild loaded with performer intake and carb,MSD ignition, headders and other goodies.The axles came apart and were completely rebuilt with new GM disk brake conversion. An axle over conversion and 6in spring lift was installed and full driveline drop and new custom drive shafts installed.The body was sealed primed and painted with a high damage resistant epoxy that is used on playground equipment.So I built this badass ride... It still needs a few things like a high steer kit and a new exhaust otherwise interior is fine, I wanted to redo it but all in all it is a beautiful truck.
SIDE NOTE: It can be driven now without a high steer kit however it turns like a semi stop to stop you have a 3 in wheel turn at the moment.. it HAS to have the high steer kit., Which I have a company that it can be bought from for about a grand..It has 410 gears in it. Its got a 3 in body lift, brand new body mounts, the undercarriage is fully sealed with POR 15 and 3m undercoating resin. the interior is all original. The paint is actually a $5k paint job, the paint is an apoxy resin paint, which basically makes this paint job indestructable.

I currently live in Seattle and the truck is in my storage in evansdale,IA . I am trying to move back home with my wife whose pregnant with our first baby so gotta get rid of some toys. I am not looking for any trades cash only. I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
Another crazy custom Jeep Wrangler spotted in Morocco
Sun, 03 Mar 2013What in the world is the vehicle you see above? Well, um... yeah. We have no idea. According to the video description from YouTube, however, it's a modified Jeep Wrangler, and it comes from the same person who created the equally insane side-by-side merged Wrangler you saw here.
We can clearly make out the Wrangler-shaped passenger compartment up top, but as for the other bits and pieces that make up this rather amazing machine, your guess is as good as ours. At the very least, it seems to us that the car's wheelbase has been given a significant stretch, and the grille may have come from an International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition semi truck.
