I have a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer for sale. To answer some questions yes this is the same jeep I had posted a few weeks ago. I decided to keep it and now I need to sell it because of personal issues. The Jeep has a TFI ignition upgrade with MSD cap, rotor, plug wires and Bosch single platinum plugs. The transmission is remanufactured unit and shifts great but i do not know what the miles on it are. I have gone thru the rear brakes which only needed cleaned and adjusted. The 4 wheel drive works perfect but sometimes you gotta wiggle it alot to put it in 4low. I put brand new Toyo Open Country A/T2's and when i say brand new i seriously mean 4/11/2013 and they have about 70 miles on them. I also replaced the alternator with a remanufactured unit from Napa. I also replaced the radiator with a very nice all metal unit and did a coolant flush. I also replaced the alternator belt with a heavy duty Napa belt. It does have a few electrical issues. You cannot leave the battery hooked up over night or it may be too dead to start. the radio doesnt work and the passanger side power seat also does not work. The headliner is sagging and the rear window assembly will need some new bushings I believe but it does work. The steering gear box has a little play in it and leaks a little fluid. Also the rear main seal leaks a little but doesn't seem to be too bad. I have driven this thing on the interstate at 80MPH and it drives very nice with no vibrations. It does have a couple little rust spots but the frame is solid and is really in pretty good shape. It is a great start for what could be a fantastic Jeep. I mean have you seen the price of these fully restored! I will post more detailed pics very soon as well as a youtube video.

Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
2014 Jeep Cherokee: June 2014
Wed, 09 Jul 2014I got a text message from Editor-In-Chief Sharon Carty one afternoon proclaiming that her new favorite SUV is our long-term 2014 Jeep Cherokee. And she's not alone. I'm not sure if anyone else on staff would go so far as to use the "favorite" descriptor, but after just over a month of honeymooning with our new long-termer, it's safe to say that the Jeep is quickly finding its way into the good graces of a number of Autoblog staffers.
There's good reason for all that praise, too. Thus far, the Jeep has proven itself to be incredibly competent and comfortable for daily life - it's functional, quiet, and packed with a host of amenities that make it easy to live with. It's been wholly trouble-free (with less than 4,000 miles on the clock as of this writing, it ought to be), but even nitpicks have been few and far between.
Chrysler recalling 31k SUVs and vans
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Chrysler is issuing recalls covering roughly 31,700 vehicles worldwide due to two separate problems. In both cases the company believes that most of the affected vehicles are either still on, or in transit to, dealer lots.
One recall covers roughly 10,700 Dodge Durango, Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SRT models from the 2014 model year built between January 16 and April 17, 2014. The SUVs need a software update for the cruise control. It's possible that when the cruise is on and the driver presses on the throttle, the acceleration could last a second after the pedal is released or two seconds for the SRT. Afterward, they return to the speed originally set by the driver.
Chrysler says it isn't aware of any accidents, injuries or even reported incidents of this happening in the real world. Also, in all cases, if the driver presses on the brake, the cruise shuts off. The automaker believes that there are about 6,100 affected SUVs in the US, 950 in Canada, 425 in Mexico and 3,200 outside of North America. The software upgrade will be ready shortly, the company says.
