NO RESERVE AUCTION on a Beautiful 1990 extremely low mileage original Jeep Grand Wagoneer. 2nd last year of the popular Grand Wagoneer. This is a very solid example, excellent running, excellent driving GW. Air conditioning blows cold, all windows work, tailgate window works but is a little slow in the middle. Power seats work, door locks work, has after market CD stereo and comes with original Jeep stereo as well. Cruise control works great. There are no exhaust leaks from manifolds and engine runs smooth and quiet without any hesitations. Jeep has brand new battery and brand new correct size original style white wall tires. Jeep rims are very good for their age. There is some minor flaking in the clear coat ( typical ) but little or no aluminum corrosion, nothing to be concerned about. Jeep has new set of original chrome lug nuts since photos were taken. It has had a full repaint recently that is of a very decent quality without any rust repair and is straight and dust free and has a beautiful finish. Wood grain is starting to warp in a few places but is in typical condition for a 24 year old vehicle. A new wood grain trim kit is available thru teamgrandwagoneer.com for less than $1000.00 if you chose to change it, This Jeep totally deserves it at some point. The interior is very clean and original and head liner is excellent with no sagging and full working overhead console and compass with outside temp gauge Chrome and stainless are all very good with the exception of the top of the grill under the hood area where there are some light wrinkles starting in the chrome. The chrome is still extremely shiny and without pits. It would not show up in photos but wanted to mention it. Over all the Jeep runs and drives terrific, just completed a 200 mile drive with absolutely no issues. These jeeps are impossible to find with this mileage unless you want to pay $45,000 elsewhere. Comes with 2 sets of original keys and original Jeep floor mats in excellent condition. Drive it home, Jeep is 10 minutes from Toronto International airport. all questions will be answered, Thanks Greg

Jeep going bigger with new Grand Wagoneer, smaller with sub-Renegade?

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

The headlines are still rolling in for the new Renegade that Jeep unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but already reports are surfacing, citing sources within the company, about what Chrysler's iconic off-road brand will do next.
Speaking with Auto Express (whose reports we tend to take with a grain of salt or two), Jeep chief Mike Manley suggested that two courses of action are currently under consideration at Auburn Hills to develop two very different new models - one smaller and one larger than anything Jeep currently makes.
One plan would be to make an SUV or crossover even smaller than the new Renegade, although it isn't immediately clear what platform it would take. The Renegade (pictured above in Trailhawk spec) will be built in Italy alongside Fiat's upcoming 500X, but uses a heavily modified platform. We figure the smaller model, if approved, could base itself on the new Fiat Panda Cross.

Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.

2014 Jeep Cherokee gets official in a hurry

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

Automakers work very, very hard to keep their new vehicles under wraps until they can present them in exactly the way they want it - typically choreographed under the bright lights of an auto show, or perhaps with photos or video in an idyllic location. Spy shooters and leaks, in other words, keep executives and public-relations types up at night.
This is likely to be one of the most polarizing designs to come out in 2014.
Take today, for instance, when the team over at Jalopnik got a big scoop - the first undisguised shots of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, a model whose name wasn't even officially confirmed yet. The clandestine images taken inside of a factory were blurry and didn't exactly show off the crossover's radical new contours in the same sort of flattering light that Jeep probably would've wished for its product reveal. So the Auburn Hills automaker has wisely reacted by spilling at least some of the beans on the new model, giving us these four photos and confirming the Liberty replacement's name, Cherokee.
