This is a great looking Grand Wagoneer. No one spot of rust can be found. Engine runs well. I would not have any hesitation to drive this vehicle across country. The motor is not the original. The block was replaced and new components put in about 10k miles ago. Runs and pulls extremely well. It has been converted to a Holley EFI (fuel injection) and the A/C has been converted to R134. I recently replaced the alternator as well. The only thing that is not operable is the rear window wiper. As you can see, I removed the wiper arm, but I still have it. Just have never messed with the wiper motor. I believe that I am the third owner of this Jeep. I bought it from a gentleman in Phoenix, AZ and drove it home to East Texas. He told me that he had bought it from the original owner in Tucson, AZ. This Jeep as been an AZ vehicle most of its life and the time that I have had it, it as lived in the garage. It is not my daily driver. I used it to take my boys to baseball practice and taking it to the lake on the weekends. Needing something with more cargo space. Not pictured is another backseat that can be mounted in the cargo area to be used as a third row seat. I have never used it that was, as there is very little room for legs, but it is equipped with seatbelts for that. Also installed in the back is shoulder harnesses for the backseat. 2014 Jeep Cherokee

There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."
Jeep Wrangler Polar is a tasty frozen treat
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Perhaps it's because we've seen so many kitted-out examples over the years, but it seems to us that the Jeep Wrangler tends to wear its special-edition duds better than most models. It might be the icon's familiar rectilinear proportions or the inherent bolt-on look of its extremities - bumpers, mirrors, lighting, and step rails - but we've seen precious few factory specials that look anything but excellent.
Case in point: this new Jeep Wrangler Polar unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This European-market limited-edition model is said to be a celebration of winter driving, which evidently works out to a body-color hardtop, black-accent seven-slot grille, 18-inch gloss black wheels, Trac-Lok limited-slip differential and a hard hat for the spare tire. Finished here in Hydro Blue (Billet Silver Metallic and Bright White are also available) and a black interior with Polar White accents, the Polar edition features badges displaying 78° S and 106° E longitude and latitude coordinates for Vostok, Antarctica.
This new Jeep will be available in both standard and Unlimited formats with either the 3.6-liter Pentastar gas engine or the still-not-for-US 2.8-liter turbodiesel when it bows early next year. For further details, check out our gallery above and the press release below.
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT gets power increase, minor tweaks for 2015
Tue, 02 Sep 2014As a brand within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, SRT may have an uncertain future, but it's pumping out some seriously mean machines anyway. The supercharged Hellcat V8 may be gobbling up most of the headlines with its 707 horsepower, but even the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting some small updates for the 2015 model year.
Most importantly for many enthusiasts, the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting a slight power bump. Don't expect the 700+ hp from the Hellcat, but this SUV sees a modest 5-hp and 5-pound-feet of torque improvement to bring output to 475 hp and 470 lb-ft for its 6.4-liter V8 with an eight-speed automatic. The minor change doesn't change the sprint to 60 miles per hour, clocking in at the same 4.8 seconds, or the tow rating at 7,200 pounds. Still, more grunt is never a bad idea.
Another new addition is the Active Noise Canceling system as a standard feature for this powerful SUV. It adds four microphones around the vehicle and uses the stereo system to nullify extraneous sound. However, Jeep claims that the meaty exhaust note from the V8 still gets through into the cabin for driver enjoyment.
