Here is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer in very original condition inside and out. This Jeep was bought new on 11-2-1989 at Joe Kerley Jeep in San Jose, CA and has lived its entire life in San Jose. This is one of the cleanest Wagoneer's I have ever seen and has been extremely well preserved and always garaged.
The Jeep has all new original color coded dark cherry metallic paint, new orginal decals and trim, and beautiful original interior. The mileage is documented by the CARFAX as 77,000 original miles this is a 2 owner car with a clean and clear title with current tags in California It just passed smog in January of this year. ABSOLUTELY NO RUST!!! Also included is the original window sticker which is over $30k in 1990/ all owner's manuals and jeep records. This jeep is well documented. Don't miss your chance to own one of the most original Grand Wagoneers around...BID NOW!!
**The following is a list of options as this Jeep is currently equipped: -Original 360ci 5.9L V8 -3 Speed Automatic Transmission -Four Wheel Drive -Power Windows -Power Locks -Dual Power Seats -Power Rear Window -Sliding moonroof -Cruise Control -Ice Cold A/C -Original Color Matched 15" Jeep Wheels -Jeep Fog Lamps -Original Jeep Rear cargo area cover -All Original Deluxe Leather Interior -Original Sound System - Front and Rear Polished bumpers -Interior door sills polished -Roof Rack is polished -Front Grill is polished
The body on the Jeep is totally solid and rust free. I have inspected the body and cannot find a single spot of rust or repair patches whatsoever. The paint on the car is all original and finished in gorgeous and rare Dark Cherry Metallic. The paint is literally as nice as the day it rolled off the lot. The rubber seals are all in very nice shape and the jeep seals up perfect. The bumpers were just high polished and look like new!
The interior is in great shape all around. The tan leather seats are all in very good shape and look great. The headliner and visors were just beautifully redone and look excellent. All dials and controls function as they should and are illuminated at night. The dashboard is in excellent shape with no cracks(please see pictures). Original carpet is excellent with no rips or ware. All door panels and wood grain are excellent. The jeep also has its original JEEP rear cargo pull out mats which are in great shape! The original cassette player still sounds great but all 4 speakers have been replaced with new high end components. Mechanically, this Wagoneer runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts quite easily. The 5.9L engine has been fully tuned up with oil change and runs like a top! The 4x4 system functions perfectly. The engine compartment was fully detailed and cleaned. It is ALL ORIGINAL under the hood, and I didn't want to take away from the originality by doing any painting or unnecessary upgrades. The jeep is tight as a drum and doesn't leak a drop of anything. It also has its factory jacking equipment. The jeep just had nearly $4000 worth of work done new carburetor, new hoses, all fluids changed, and full tune up including coil and new ignition switch.
All in all, this is one of the cleanest and most original Jeeps that I have had the privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. I have restored 2 of these Jeep Wagoneers. This Grand Wagoneer is a fantastic example and will be the envy of any true Jeep lover! Any further questions please call:

100,000 Jeep Cherokee models subject to further 9-speed recalibration
Thu, 29 May 2014It seems that the software problems with the nine-speed automatic gearbox in the Jeep Cherokee continue to mount. The programming already caused multiple development delays and even postponed the Cherokee's market launch by roughly two months. Now, Jeep has issued another recalibration to hopefully assuage unhappy drivers.
According to Automotive News, this reflash for the allegedly jerky transmission covers over 100,000 Cherokees built before May 5, but it's not technically a recall. If owners are having problems and complain to the dealer, they get the new software. Otherwise, they continue with the current version. New vehicles on dealer lots also receive the latest revision to the programming. It takes only around five minutes to install, but technicians need to take the Cherokee on a test drive to adapt the gearbox to the changes.
The Cherokee's transmission software has been problematic practically since the beginning. The Jeep plant in Toledo, OH, briefly idled its second-shift workers last year to take care of the issue. Since the launch issues for the crossover, demand has been strong. Jeep added another 1,000 temporary workers to the Toledo factory to keep up, and sales were on par with the Wrangler in just its first two months.
Jeep Cherokee appears in Chrysler's second Super Bowl spot
Mon, 03 Feb 2014The second of three spots produced by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for this year's Super Bowl featured the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Aired during the game's half time show, the minute-long ad didn't strike as anything new or innovative from an automaker with a reputation for above average Super Bowl spots, but it did show the controversially styled Cherokee in the best light possible.
Called Restless, the commercial shows young, adventurous types doing the sorts of things that young, adventurous types do: surfing, skateboarding, cliff jumping, staring off into the sky with a pensive expression, etc. Scroll down to watch Restless for yourself and let us know in Comments if Jeep managed to hold your attention during half time.
Jeep Wrangler Copper Crawler is our idea of a restrained Mopar shopping spree
Thu, 07 Nov 2013According to a recent report, the Jeep Wrangler is the most popular SUV for customization, and this is backed up by the fact that the iconic off-roader was just named the Hottest 4x4-SUV at SEMA for the fourth year in a row. Looking for ways to keep its customers in-house rather than going aftermarket, Jeep and Mopar are always teaming to offer exciting new parts and pieces for the JK Wrangler.
Compared to most other Wranglers on display at SEMA - as well as other Chrysler Mopar SEMA concepts - the Jeep Wrangler Copper Crawler is surprisingly reserved, but should be no less exciting for owners to give their Wrangler a distinctive look. Starting off with an eye-catching copper paint scheme, the Jeep then goes on a Mopar catalog shopping spree with its matte black grille, black beadlock wheels, two-inch lift, Rubicon bumper (with a winch and aero end caps up front) and rocker panel and taillight guards.
Jeep also upgraded the Wrangler's transfer case for low-speed rock crawling (hence the vehicle's name) and cold-air intake for extra measure.
